New technology fills domestic gap! my country's largest liquefied natural gas storage base is completed
Yesterday, the China National Offshore Oil Corporation Yancheng "Green Energy Port" project, the world's largest 270,000 cubic meter liquefied natural gas storage tank group designed and built independently by my country, was completed in Yancheng, Jiangsu, marking the full completion of my country's largest liquefied natural gas reserve base.
During the project design and construction process, many new technologies and processes were innovatively adopted, and many technological achievements filled the domestic gaps. my country has also become one of the few countries in the world capable of carrying out the design and construction of ultra-large liquefied natural gas storage tanks.
Storage tanks are core equipment in the liquefied natural gas industry chain. Not only does the temperature of the medium they store be extremely low, -162°C for liquefied natural gas, they also have to withstand extreme operating conditions such as fire, explosion, and earthquake, and their design and construction processes are extremely complex.
The "Green Energy Port" project is located at the ancient Yellow River estuary, and the underground is full of soft silty clay. The site where the "Green Energy Port" is located carries six 270,000 cubic meter liquefied natural gas storage tanks with a total weight of more than 1.3 million tons, which is equivalent to "putting a weight on a block of tofu."
Zhang Zhongfu, deputy general manager of China National Offshore Oil Corporation Petrochemical Engineering Company: The design team has innovatively developed a new method for calculating the bearing capacity of pile groups, making full use of the bearing capacity of the foundation. The construction team has used integrated pile-driving technology for the first time, allowing ultra-large storage tanks to stand upright and stable.
It is reported that the six 270,000 cubic meter liquefied natural gas storage tank clusters in China National Offshore Oil Corporation's Yancheng "Green Energy Port" are the first of their kind in the world. The technical team has adopted an intelligent assessment system to achieve remote real-time monitoring of the entire life cycle, warn of safety hazards, and avoid safety risks. This is the first time in China that this technology has been used in the field of liquefied natural gas storage tank construction.
