On the 30th, the 14th "Challenge Cup" Shanghai University Student Entrepreneurship Plan Competition came to an award ceremony at Donghua University, and the 14-member team of Zhang Haobo from Tongji University announced good news. For this entrepreneurial team, they not only won the gold medal in the "Challenge Cup" city finals with the "Green Smart Unmanned Agriculture Leader" project, but also founded Shanghai Nongji Technology Co., Ltd., truly embarking on the road of entrepreneurship.

Food is the primary need of the people. How can kitchen waste from unmanned agriculture be converted into useful resources? Can green and efficient shrimp be cultivated in saline-alkali land? College students in the city also seek solutions to the three rural issues. Following the development trend of unmanned green agriculture, Zhang Haobo and his team invented a smart system and platform for multi-machine collaborative planting, including a "combined" intensive agricultural machinery that integrates reclamation, cultivation, irrigation, and covering. It can adapt to complex and resource-restricted areas with obstacles, and uses lithium battery photovoltaic power generation to realize the implementation of smart agricultural machinery and achieve the "acceleration" of cultivated land sowing. Its projects have been applied to the planting of crops such as mung beans, corn, and soybeans at the Qingpu Mengtian Science and Technology Farm and the Xinzhou Island in Hengsha, Chongming. At present, the company has a registered capital of 3 million yuan, plans to raise 5 million yuan, and sell 10% of its shares.

The reporter of Jiefang Daily and Shangguan News learned that this "Challenge Cup" has set up five groups, including scientific and technological innovation and future industries, rural revitalization and agricultural and rural modernization, ecological civilization construction and green and low-carbon development, cultural creativity and regional exchanges and cooperation, social governance and public services. Each group has two tracks that highlight the spirit of innovation and practice orientation. Since the competition was launched in February this year, it has attracted 68,000 students from more than 80 colleges and universities to participate, and a total of 25,000 innovation and entrepreneurship projects have been submitted, of which 1,131 projects have been shortlisted for the municipal rematch, an increase of nearly 30% over the previous session. In the end, more than 1,000 entrepreneurial talents from 358 projects entered the finals, and the number of participating schools and students reached a record high.

In the field of social governance and public services, college students' entrepreneurial direction guards the "safety bottom line". Liu Yang and other student teams at Donghua University have developed a flexible vehicle arresting device woven with high-performance fibers, which can "lock" the accelerating front wheels within 28 meters like casting a net, and stop the "checkpoint-breaking" vehicles. They use ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene as raw material, combined with high-strength and wear-resistant rope weaving technology, and through the design of a split arresting net, they prepare a lightweight and high-strength intercepting net, and then form a complete set of arresting devices through integrated assembly design.

It is reported that in the "Bus Anti-Hijacking Drill" in Shanghai last December, this "Wei'an Generation 1" flexible blocking device, with its advantages of being lightweight and portable, met the requirements for rapid deployment and efficiently intercepted vehicles driven by suspected criminals, which was highly praised by the police. Team member and Donghua University master's student Zhou Yuhe said that this device has high blocking efficiency, good concealment, can block a variety of vehicle types, and has a wide range of applications. It can greatly reduce the possibility of excessive damage to vehicles, effectively protect the personal safety of people in the car, and guarantee the safety of people's lives and property to the greatest extent.

Not only safe, but also healthy. After this fierce competition, from Shanghai University's "Dewenlingao" new medical dressing in the field of diabetic foot care to Shanghai Electronic Information Vocational and Technical College's portable home blood tester that can predict inflammation and infection, each team won the gold medal with their innovative and entrepreneurial projects, and is expected to represent Shanghai in the biennial national competition - the "Challenge Cup" China University Student Entrepreneurship Plan Competition. These participating project teams have held a two-day public display at Donghua University, bringing excellent works full of creativity, strong applicability, and high social value. The footprints of dual innovation have spread across more than 30 provinces and regions across the country, injecting "youthful energy" into the development of new quality productivity.

This competition was jointly organized by the Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League, Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, Shanghai Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, Shanghai Association for Science and Technology, and Shanghai Student Union. At the school level, Donghua University, which ranked first in the city in terms of the number of gold medals, and 17 other schools including Fudan University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, and Tongji University won the "Champion Cup"; and East China University of Science and Technology won the only "Challenge Cup". For example, its "Lixin Semiconductor" project team successfully developed the core component of the wet etching machine - N2 etching enhancement equipment, which can save more than 10 million yuan in import costs for a single unit of equipment.
