History has witnessed the magnificent journey, and time has engraved the footprints of struggle. Today, we are celebrating the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, and are marching forward courageously and forging ahead on the path of Chinese-style modernization. After going through turbulent years and trials and tribulations, the century-old party is still in its prime; it will always maintain a pure heart, sharpen its ambition for rejuvenation, and achieve a great cause that will last for thousands of years.

Looking back at the extraordinary journey of more than 100 years, our Party has united and led the people to achieve tremendous achievements. In particular, over the past 75 years since the founding of the People's Republic of China, relying on the hard work of all Chinese people, China has developed from a poor and backward country to the world's second largest economy, and hundreds of millions of rural poor people have all been lifted out of poverty, creating a miracle in the history of human development. Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, in the face of major risks and challenges rarely seen in the world and history, the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core has united and led hundreds of millions of people to withstand external pressure and overcome internal difficulties, ushering in a new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and providing a more complete institutional guarantee, a more solid material foundation, and a more proactive spiritual force for China's modernization. We are well aware that promoting Chinese-style modernization is a pioneering cause unprecedented in history. On the road ahead, we will inevitably encounter a large number of new topics that have never appeared before, encounter various difficulties and obstacles, and withstand many major tests of high winds, rough seas, and even stormy waves. Only by anchoring the established goals and being a firm activist and doer in the construction of Chinese-style modernization can we achieve success in overcoming difficulties and open up a path in daring to take risks. On the new journey, all comrades in the Party must fully implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, carry forward the great spirit of party building, keep in mind the original intention, bear in mind the mission, strengthen historical confidence, enhance historical initiative, stimulate creative vitality, carry forward the spirit of struggle, gather tremendous strength, and unswervingly push forward the grand cause of Chinese-style modernization.

Reform and opening up is an important magic weapon for the cause of the Party and the people to catch up with the times. China must fundamentally rely on reform and opening up to achieve new and greater development. General Secretary Xi Jinping emphasized: "To promote Chinese-style modernization, we must further deepen reform and opening up in an all-round way, constantly liberate and develop social productive forces, and liberate and enhance social vitality."
