Ruijin Hospital selected four major departments to send technology to Ruijin "old revolutionary base", from "First Hospital" to "First Soviet University"
To celebrate the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, today, more than 30 medical staff from Ruijin Hospital affiliated to Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine traveled to Jiangxi to jointly hold a theme party day event with Ruijin City, Jiangxi Province. Vice President Qiu Liping and Vice Chairman of the Ruijin CPPCC and President of the General Hospital Yang Liyong signed a technical cooperation agreement as representatives of both parties. It is reported that Ruijin Hospital selected four departments, including respiratory department, thyroid surgery, urology department and cardiology department, in the first batch according to the population and disease spectrum of Ruijin City and the medical needs of the masses, and used the four-step learning method of "selection, learning, teaching and supervision" to achieve the translation of Ruijin's new technologies such as specialized disease diagnosis and treatment, nursing and management. At the same time, the "Ruijin Technology Translation Manual" compiled by Shanghai Ruijin Hospital was also handed over to the relevant departments of Ruijin City General Hospital on site.
Li Kejian, deputy secretary of the Ganzhou Municipal Party Committee and mayor, introduced that during the period of the Central Soviet Area, the Communist Party of China established the first health management agency, the first Red Army General Hospital, and the first pharmaceutical factory in Ruijin, giving birth to the great "Red Medical Spirit". In 1998, Shanghai Ruijin Hospital and Ruijin People's Hospital established a support relationship, helping to train a large number of academic leaders, middle-level cadres, and medical technology backbones. Today, Shanghai Ruijin Hospital and Jiangxi Ruijin Hospital signed a cooperation agreement, which fully demonstrated the deep friendship of the people of Shanghai to the old revolutionary base in southern Jiangxi.

It is reported that a total of 32 hospitals in Jiangxi Province have joined the Shanghai Ruijin Hospital Specialty Medical Alliance, covering 16 specialties; in the past four years, a total of 132 doctors from 60 hospitals in Jiangxi Province have been accepted for training. Ruijin Hospital will also rely on the "Nursing Public Welfare Tour" project, remote diagnosis and treatment, and teaching cooperation to effectively help the old revolutionary base areas improve their health and wellness, so that more new drugs, new equipment, and new technologies can benefit the old revolutionary base areas, and sow more seeds of health on this red land that once gave birth to countless revolutionary heroes.
