"Three Meals, Four Seasons" explores the food culture of 22 cities, Sa Beining and others form a "taste-seeking group"
The blending of five flavors, frying, deep-frying, and stir-frying, as an important part of Chinese civilization, the food culture spans thousands of years of history and covers the wisdom of countless generations. It not only inherits the taste, but also continues the cultural beliefs rooted in the hearts of the Chinese people.
The large-scale seasonal food and cultural tourism program "Three Meals, Four Seasons" jointly produced by China Central Radio and Television and the Ministry of Commerce and produced by CCTV Comprehensive Channel was officially launched a few days ago. The program team searched all over the country and selected 22 cities in 11 provinces including Fujian, Hebei, Guizhou, Jiangsu, Liaoning, Hainan, Zhejiang, Hubei, Shandong, Jiangxi and Qinghai for filming, searching for the fireworks in the market and exploring the unique local delicacies. The program has a total of 11 episodes, which will be broadcast on CCTV-1 CCTV Comprehensive Channel every Sunday night at 20:00. The Jiangsu episode will be broadcast on the evening of June 30.
In "Three Meals, Four Seasons", food is not only a feast for the tongue, but also a carrier of life philosophy and emotional expression. In Jiangsu, the "Taste Search Group" composed of hosts Sa Beining, Zhang Xinyu, Wang Jianing and Meng Jia went to Yancheng and Huai'an. From the improved braised glutinous rice balls, the eight bowls of Yancheng that keep pace with the times, the century-old old Huaicheng Changyu Noodle Restaurant, the century-old family craft "Yuejia Tea San" that has been passed down for generations, and the determination of Huaiyang cuisine master Feng Xiangwen "Confucian Chef" to recreate Huaiyang cuisine "Although the ambition is difficult, it will be successful", you can truly feel the charm of the interweaving of history and modernity, and the integration of tradition and innovation contained in the dishes. In Guiyang and Zunyi, the taste search group also saw the Guizhou culture in the food. For example, the Changwang noodles, which sound like "Chang Chi Chang Wang", is the beginning of a good omen for Guiyang people; the "Love Tofu Fruit" that sticks the ingredients together by frying represents the local people's longing for love.
It is reported that in each episode, "Three Meals, Four Seasons" will use food as a guide to visit one province and two cities, showcasing the unique local food and customs, explore the Chinese people's hometown memories, cultural heritage and spiritual belonging hidden in the "three meals and four seasons", and show the social life of the new era in various places and the myriad atmospheres of Chinese-style modernization behind the food. Through the exploration of three meals a day, small shops and large stores, it will introduce hometown food, evoke nostalgia and condense the memory of the times.
