News: The Xi'an-Yan'an High-speed Railway, the first high-speed railway in the old revolutionary base area of northern Shaanxi, ushered in an important construction step on the morning of June 28. The two 10,000-ton bridge decks of the Xixian North Ring Line Super Bridge, one of the key and difficult control projects of the entire line located in Gaoling District of Xi'an, completed the aerial rotation and successfully connected.
After the rotation is completed, the bridge deck will be closed, and it is expected to be completed in 7-10 days. The Xi'an-Yanzhou High-speed Railway crosses the Xixian North Ring Line Super Bridge with a total length of 4.8 kilometers. The overall construction of the bridge is expected to be completed by the end of August.

Inner Mongolia: Two new high-speed railways successfully connected to the existing high-speed railway station

This is the construction site of the Jidayuan High-speed Railway in Ulanqab, Inner Mongolia. After more than five hours of intensive construction, the newly built Jidayuan High-speed Railway was successfully connected to the Ulanqab Station of the Beijing-Baotou Passenger Dedicated Line.
The Jidayuan High-speed Railway is an important part of the "Huhan Corridor" of the national "Eight Vertical and Eight Horizontal" high-speed railway network. In the past, traveling from Hohhot to Taiyuan required a detour to Huaian, Hebei. After being introduced to Ulanqab Station, you can take the Jidayuan High-speed Railway directly. The railway travel time between Hohhot and Taiyuan has been shortened from the current 5 hours to more than 2 hours.

At the same time, at another high-speed railway construction site more than 400 kilometers away, the Baotou-Yinchuan high-speed railway successfully introduced the existing Baotou Station, laying the foundation for the subsequent connection of the project. The Baotou-Yinchuan high-speed railway is also an important part of the "Beijing-Lanzhou Corridor" of the national "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed railway network. It starts from Baotou City, Inner Mongolia in the east and ends in Yinchuan City, Ningxia in the west. It is the fastest channel for northwestern provinces such as Gansu, Ningxia, and Qinghai to enter Beijing. After completion, the high-speed rail operation time from various places in the northwest region to Beijing will be shortened by more than 2 hours.

The reporter learned from the China Railway Corporation that the Lanwu section of the newly built Lanzhou-Zhangjiakou High-speed Railway will be opened for operation on June 29, and Wuwei, Gansu, an important city on the Silk Road, will be connected to the national high-speed rail network.
The Lanzhou-Zhangye high-speed railway starts from Lanzhou West Station, passes through Lanzhou, Wuwei, Jinchang and Zhangye in Gansu Province, and connects to Zhangye West Station. The main line is about 498 kilometers long with a designed speed of 250 kilometers per hour. The entire line is divided into three sections, of which the Lanzhou West to Zhongchuan Airport section was opened for operation in September 2015; the Zhongchuan Airport to Wuwei East section was opened this time, with a main line of 193 kilometers.

In the initial stage of operation, a maximum of 20 high-speed trains will be operated every day. The fastest time from Wuwei East to Lanzhou West Station is 1 hour and 56 minutes, which is 58 minutes shorter than the current ordinary passenger trains.
