This series of illegal transactions were disguised as lease agreements for tin processing equipment. Moise also got in touch with Helena Lin, the then manager of Quantum Skyline Trading, an Indonesian currency exchange company, and laundered the illegal profits into a "corporate social responsibility fund" and first put the money into his own pocket , and then distributed among the persons involved.

Sahajo, an Indonesian environmental scholar, said that this corruption case has caused potential environmental damage of 271 trillion Indonesian rupiah to the Indonesian country.
Now, this case, known as "the largest corruption case in Indonesian history," is still under investigation. After Moise was arrested by Indonesian authorities on March 27, he was accused of money laundering and misuse of company funds, colluding with the state-owned tin mining company Tianma Tin, engaging in illegal mining activities, and committing money laundering and corruption crimes.
