In order to promote the Healthy China Action and the Healthy Shanghai Action, this city has launched a special health science popularization plan in 2024, with two categories: special health science popularization projects and special community health science popularization projects. The special health science popularization plan funds 30 projects. The application requirements focus on healthy lifestyles and health literacy, prevention and control of major key diseases, maternal, child and adolescent health, elderly health, occupational population health, as well as traditional Chinese medicine health promotion, visual health, hearing health, and oral health. , bone health and other related topics, develop and create a complete health science popularization resource package, including a series of science popularization materials, health entries and theme courses. The community health science popularization project launched for the first time this year is specifically solicited from community health service centers across the city. It plans to fund 20 projects. The application requirements focus on a common disease, frequently-occurring disease or major public health issue, and must cover prevention, diagnosis and treatment, rehabilitation and disease self-care. Each village neighborhood committee has at least one active health self-management group. There are at least two active municipal-level demonstration health self-management groups in streets and towns, with daily activities taking place no less than 12 times a year.
