In this regard, the People's Government of Caolu Town in Pudong New Area attaches great importance to it, conducts inspections as soon as possible, and takes multiple measures to solve the dust problem.
It is reported that there is a centralized consumption point in Caolu Town. When a large number of waste soil transportation vehicles from construction sites outside Caolu Town pass through Jinhai Road to the consumption point, some of them run and leak, causing dust. In addition, the Jinhai Road reconstruction project has some exposed soil that is not covered, resulting in serious dust on the entire road. To address this issue, multiple departments in Caolu Town have launched joint actions, interviewing transportation fleets and maintenance units to standardize the entire process of soil transportation from the source, transportation, and unloading points, and reduce the generation of dust.
Specifically, in response to the issue of uncovered soil on both sides of the Jinhai Road renovation project, the comprehensive administrative law enforcement team of Caolu Town conducted law enforcement inspections. At the same time, the urban transportation office of Caolu Town also requires the unloading point operator to repair the damaged roads and facilities along the route, implement environmental management for transportation vehicles along the route, hire professional maintenance companies to clean, ensure twice a day watering, solve road dust and silt accumulation, and ensure the cleanliness of Jinhai Road.
