On July 1st, the summer transportation officially started. During this period, the passenger flow of the Yangtze River Delta railway is expected to exhibit six characteristics: firstly, the overall passenger flow shows a "smile" curve of "high at both ends and low in the middle"; Secondly, the passenger flow is mainly composed of tourism, family visits, and student flows; Thirdly, the trend of passenger flow maintaining concentration towards the Yangtze River Delta region and towards high-speed trains remains unchanged, with an increase in the proportion of medium and long-distance passenger flow; Fourthly, the weekly passenger flow has obvious characteristics, with a significant increase in weekend passenger flow compared to mid week passenger flow; The fifth is the high concentration of passenger flow in traditional tourist cities, and the phased concentration of passenger flow in cities with abundant educational resources and labor hubs; Sixth, with the influence of favorable factors such as road network optimization and capacity growth, the passenger flow of new lines and stations in Jiangsu and Anhui provinces has shown a significant increase.
