"The blue sky, clear lake water, green grassland, this is my home..." A poem by Tengger's "Heaven" depicts the stunning scenery of Inner Mongolia. 1.3 billion acres of natural grassland, 400 million acres of vast forests, thousands of rivers and lakes... The beauty of Inner Mongolia is the colorful beauty that permeates time and space. With a long history, diverse cultures, ethnic integration, and diverse landscapes, Inner Mongolia's land is magnificent and splendid.
Another place with a "colorful" reputation is Guizhou Province, located in the inland hinterland of southwestern China. Guizhou is known as the only province in China without plain support, with the saying of "eight mountains, one water, and one field". The unique karst landforms have created the magical natural landscapes of Guizhou, and a "Dong ethnic song" sings the purest "fireworks" of Guizhou people.
The unique ecological environment nourishes the unique delicacies of Guizhou and Inner Mongolia. At the upcoming 6th Shanghai Matching Region Specialty Commodity Exhibition, Guizhou and Inner Mongolia will also bring local specialty goods as promised to enrich the "dining table" and "fruit plate" of Shanghai citizens.
"Shanghai" and "Guizhou" mountain and sea conditions broaden the "mountain road" of Guizhou goods"
In 2013, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council decided to provide targeted assistance to Zunyi, Guizhou through Shanghai. As a result, the two regions formed a deep friendship of 7 years of targeted assistance. This friendship is like the sunshine shining on the golden prickly pear fruits, or like a clear spring watering the endless sea of tea.
In the midst of summer, 400000 acres of prickly pears in Shuicheng District, Liupanshui City, Guizhou Province are gradually blooming. The blooming prickly pear flowers not only become beautiful rural scenery, but also open up beautiful prospects for increasing industrial income and wealth.

Prickly pear is a unique natural plant resource in Guizhou, with flat and round fruits, many thorns on the outside, a sweet and slightly astringent taste, and rich nutrition. Research has shown that every 100 grams of prickly pear pulp is rich in over 2300 milligrams of vitamin C, which is 500 times that of apples, 50 times that of citrus fruits, and 10 times that of kiwifruit. It is truly the natural king of vitamin C. At the same time, the SOD and vitamin P content of prickly pear fruit is much higher than other fruits, so it is also known as the "Three Kings Holy Fruit".
Thanks to the good ecological environment, Guizhou Province is the only province in the country and even in the world that has carried out large-scale planting and industrialized development of Rosa roxburghii products. At present, the planting area of Rosa roxburghii in Guizhou Province has reached 2.1 million mu, and the fresh fruit output will be 300000 tons in 2022. The small golden fruit has become the "rich fruit" in the hands of farmers ".
Thanks to its favorable ecological environment, Guizhou Province is the only province in China and even the world to carry out large-scale cultivation and industrial development of prickly pear products. At present, the planting area of prickly pear in Guizhou Province reaches 2.1 million mu, and by 2022, it will achieve a fresh fruit yield of 300000 tons. The small golden fruit has become a "wealth fruit" in the hands of farmers.
In the past, prickly pear products also faced difficulties such as weak development capabilities and single products. Now, Guizhou continuously introduces excellent and strong enterprises such as Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Group, China National Pharmaceutical Group, Wahaha, and Haocaitou to drive the improvement of prickly pear deep processing capabilities and create flagship products and super single products. Taking Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Group as an example, in 2018, Wang Laoji Company of Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Group developed a natural high-dimensional C beverage called "Ciningji" using prickly pear as the raw material through brand technology empowerment and channel advantages. Once launched, the sales volume of prickly pear products exceeded 100 million in one year and 1 billion in three years, gradually becoming a new favorite in the market.
At the end of 2022, the production and sales docking meeting of the "Guizhou Cili · Healthy China Tour" Shanghai station was successfully held. Leveraging the advantages of Shanghai's large market and circulation, Guizhou continued to export the "Guizhou Cili" public brand, helping key enterprises expand into markets outside the province, and allowing characteristic prickly pear products to go out of the mountains and enter thousands of households in Shanghai.

In addition to Jinguo prickly pear, you can also taste famous teas from Guizhou such as "Meitan Cuiya" and "Zunyi Hong" at this exhibition.
When it comes to tea, the first reaction of many tea enthusiasts is famous teas such as West Lake Longjing and Xinyang Maofeng, and few people know about Guizhou tea. In fact, Guizhou is one of the birthplaces of tea trees and tea culture, with a long history and profound heritage of tea culture. Tea grows in the clouds, and clouds float in the tea. The climate conditions of high altitude, low latitude, and low sunshine allow for the full accumulation of nutrients in tea, giving birth to the fresh and rich taste of Guizhou tea.
Meitan County in Zunyi City is located at the southern foot of Dalou Mountain, which is extremely suitable for the growth of tea trees, and is known as the "first county in Guizhou's tea industry". Here, over 40000 acres of tea gardens are one of the iconic local landscapes. Since the cooperation between the eastern and western regions, the ecological tea industry in Meitan County has experienced rapid development. Through a series of measures, Meitan County has integrated and rectified the local tea industry, creating two major brands, "Meitan Cuiya" and "Zunyi Hong", and jointly promoting the vigorous development of the tea industry. With the efforts of Shanghai's aid officials to Guizhou and the local government, "Meitan Cuiya" and "Zunyi Red" were protected as geographical indication products in 2017.
"Inner Mongolia Taste" Gifted by Nature"
At the same time, the good reputation of Guizhou tea as "clean, ecological, and safe" has also won recognition from domestic and foreign markets. "If you want to drink pollution-free tea, come to Guizhou" is not just a slogan, but also a commitment to the industry. To create clean tea, Guizhou's tea industry has built a quality and safety control system from the source, emphasizing the management and protection of tea mountains. "Picking tea with both hands" is a standard feature of Guizhou's beautiful tea mountains. The popularization of this tea picking method can force various regions to strengthen tea garden management, increase the rate of fresh leaves under tea trees, optimize the structure of tea products, and promote the transformation and upgrading of the industrial chain.

The "Inner Mongolia Flavor" Gift from Nature
In addition to the unique geographical environment, the unique wisdom of raising sheep has also achieved the first-class quality of Inner Mongolia mutton. According to reports, the main varieties of mutton sheep in Inner Mongolia have a history of selection and breeding for thousands of years. From the spontaneous selection and breeding of herdsmen, to the use of modern scientific and technological means to cultivate new varieties, to the unique grazing methods, the generation of delicious food embodies the wisdom of the grassland people.
Inner Mongolia is the region with the highest sheep production in China. It runs through the golden livestock belt from 39 degrees to 49 degrees north latitude, and has thousands of nutrient rich grasses such as alkali grass, needle grass, alfalfa, and ice grass, as well as hundreds of natural Chinese herbal medicines, which are natural ingredients for meat sheep.
In addition to its unique geographical environment, the unique wisdom of raising sheep has also achieved first-class quality of Inner Mongolia lamb. It is reported that the main varieties of Inner Mongolia meat sheep have a breeding history of thousands of years. From spontaneous breeding by herdsmen, to the use of modern technology to cultivate new varieties, and then to unique grazing methods, the delicious production embodies the wisdom of grassland people.
In spring, herdsmen drive their sheep to low-lying areas to search for tender grass and feed their meat sheep with water and fat. Generally, grass that has just turned green has a high protein content and is easy to digest, which is beneficial for the development of tendon tissue in sheep. In order to take care of the weak sheep after winter, grazing requires going out with the wind and returning with the wind. Autumn is here again, it's the season to catch oil and fat. Herders will choose grasslands where grass seeds are grown and try to extend grazing time as much as possible, ensuring stable and slow movement, which is a key link in fat deposition in meat sheep. This kind of wisdom shines brightly in the inheritance of herdsmen for generations, and also shines brightly in modern technological means.
In the production workshop of a meat industry enterprise in Inner Mongolia, all slaughtered sheep on the first floor are suspended upside down on a modern slaughtering line and transported to the second floor. Workers orderly complete dozens of processes such as head and hoof removal, skinning, opening, post slaughter disinfection, and quarantine. After 24 hours of low-temperature acid discharge, these even and clean carcasses are sent to the dividing line. In the modern production process, enterprises strictly control every aspect of feeding, and each sheep has a unique identification number, dedicated "nanny", and family epidemic prevention personnel. Through informatization, the source of lamb can be traced, its whereabouts can be verified, and responsibilities can be pursued, ensuring that consumers can eat with confidence. It is precisely the perfect combination of tested traditional methods and upgraded and iterated breeding technology that has created a unique flavor of Inner Mongolia lamb.

In addition to the coveted Inner Mongolia lamb, milk from Inner Mongolia is also a must-have item on the dining table of Shanghai citizens.
In Inner Mongolia, the vast grasslands are an undeniable source of high-quality milk, but nowadays, deserts can also become a source of milk, constantly producing good milk.
The Ulanbuhe Desert is named "Ulanbuhe" because there is no grass growing and yellow sand covering the sky, resembling a red bull. It means "red bull" in Mongolian and is also the impression that most people have of this desert. In 2009, Mengniu's animal husbandry enterprise organized a group of geologists and technical professionals to enter the Ulanbuh Desert. After exploration, they found that Ulanbuh, located between 106 ° 09 ′ -106 ° 57 ′ E and 39 ° 16 ′ -40 ° 57 ′ N, is a natural and pollution-free virus isolation zone, suitable for the development of animal husbandry, with an annual sunshine duration of over 3300 hours and a large temperature difference between day and night. The 10000 square kilometer desert has no industrial zone and is suitable for the development of animal husbandry.
In order to give the desert a "sand industry", raise good cattle and produce good milk, and achieve an organic cycle of animal husbandry, Mengniu organized a team of 400 people to go deep into the hinterland, starting from infrastructure, and tackle the difficulties of organic forage planting with one shovel and one hand. Later, Mengniu's "Trensu Organic Milk" was born in this desert organic pasture.
