With the increasing enthusiasm of citizens to participate in sports, the professional skills requirements for practitioners in the sports industry are also getting higher and higher. Recently, the 10th Shanghai Sports Industry Vocational Skills Competition in 2023 was held at the Pudong Swimming Pool. A total of 108 athletes from 27 sports teams in the city staged a professional skills competition.
This year's competition is jointly organized by the Shanghai Municipal Sports Bureau and the Shanghai Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau for the first time. While rewarding individuals and groups, qualified players who win the first place in the individual competition can apply to the Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau. The social security department will give priority to recommend applications for the "Shanghai Highly Skilled Talent Selection and Commendation Project".
As a municipal-level industry vocational skills competition, the competition event of this competition is fitness guidance. Participants come from five professional fields: swimming, rock climbing, skiing, diving, and fitness coaching. The content of the competition refers to the national professional skills standards for social sports instructors and is divided into two modules: job knowledge and job skills. Among them, job knowledge covers professional ethics, public theoretical knowledge, special sports knowledge, exercise physiology, sports anatomy, sports nutrition, healthy physical fitness, etc.; job skills include comprehensive physical fitness, safety protection skills, and teaching guidance capabilities.
The contestants are undergoing the "CPR cardiopulmonary resuscitation" assessment.
The competition focuses on the test of sports safety protection and sports first aid capabilities. Participants need to complete the two technologies of "CPR cardiopulmonary resuscitation" and "AED automatic external defibrillation" in sports first aid on site. The final round focuses on testing the vocational skills talents' mastery of national occupational standards and regulations, on-site teaching guidance ability and practical application ability.
Yin Molin, winner of the National May 1st Labor Medal and first place in the swimming lifesaving event of the National Sports Industry Skills Competition, has served as a referee for the Shanghai Sports Industry Vocational Skills Competition for two consecutive years.
