According to "Taizhou Release", on June 25, the 17th meeting of the Standing Committee of the Sixth People's Congress of Taizhou City passed a list of appointments and removals, removing Liu Zhiming from the post of deputy mayor of Taizhou Municipal People's Government.
On April 26, "Clean Jiangsu" released a message that Liu Zhiming, member of the Party Leadership Group and deputy mayor of Taizhou Municipal People's Government, was suspected of serious violations of discipline and laws and was currently undergoing disciplinary review and supervision investigation by the Jiangsu Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision.
Public information shows that Liu Zhiming, male, Han nationality, was born in August 1972. He joined the Communist Party of China in June 2000 and is a graduate student of the Party School of Jiangsu Provincial Committee. He was formerly deputy director of the Jingjiang Municipal Party Committee Office, secretary of the Party Committee of Xinqiao Town, Jingjiang City, member of the Standing Committee of the Hailing District Party Committee, secretary of the Party Working Committee of Hailing Industrial Park, secretary of the Party Working Committee of Jingtai Road Sub-district, deputy secretary-general and director of the Research Office of the Taizhou Municipal Party Committee, deputy secretary and mayor of the Taixing Municipal Party Committee, and secretary of the Taixing Municipal Party Committee. In June 2021, Liu Zhiming was appointed as a member of the Party Leadership Group of the Taizhou Municipal Government and a first-level researcher. In February 2022, he was appointed as deputy mayor of Taizhou.
According to a message released late on the night of June 24 by the official Weibo account of China Railway Shanghai Bureau Group, "Yangtze River Delta Railway", China Railway Shanghai Bureau Group plans to suspend passenger trains in some sections of the Yangtze River Delta region from June 25 to 26.
According to the forecast of the meteorological department, from June 24 to 27, there will be continuous heavy rainfall in northern Jiangnan, Jianghuai and other places. Among them, parts of southern Anhui and western Zhejiang will have heavy rain to torrential rain, and local heavy rainstorms. Some of the above-mentioned areas will be accompanied by strong convective weather such as short-term heavy rainfall, local thunderstorms and strong winds. Affected by this, some railway sections such as Hangzhou-Changsha, Qujiu, Chihuang, Hefu, and Shanghai-Kunming are at great risk of flooding. In order to ensure the safety of railway transportation and passenger travel, China Railway Shanghai Bureau Group Co., Ltd. plans to suspend passenger trains on some sections of the above-mentioned lines from June 25 to 26.
3. Six universities in Jiangsu have approved the project to build first-class applied undergraduate universities
Recently, the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education announced the results of the selection of Jiangsu Province's first-class applied undergraduate colleges and universities in 2024.
Six universities including Yancheng Institute of Technology, Suzhou University of Science and Technology, Huaiyin Institute of Technology, Nanjing Institute of Technology, Jiangsu University of Science and Technology and Jiangsu Ocean University are planned to be approved as construction units of Jiangsu Province's first-class applied undergraduate universities in 2024.
On January 19, 2024, the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education held a press conference and released the "Implementation Plan for the Selection and Construction of Jiangsu Province's First-Class Applied Undergraduate Universities". Jiangsu Province will launch the first round of the construction of first-class applied undergraduate universities, and the construction period after the project is approved is four years. By 2028, about 10 universities will be selected as the first round of Jiangsu Province's first-class applied undergraduate universities construction units.
