In addition, sanitation workers spend most of their time working outdoors, with hot summers and cold winters, making it very difficult. Their breakfast issue has always been a concern for society.

For example, in Nantong, Jiangsu, there are six Mowen Sui Love Breakfast service points that have been in operation for more than 4 years, providing free breakfast for retired veterans, sanitation workers, elderly people living alone, etc. They have served more than 400000 people, initiated by Zhang Zhiguang, a local love entrepreneur in Nantong; In Suqian, Jiangsu, there is a vegetarian public welfare restaurant. Since October 2016, more than 40 volunteers have voluntarily raised funds to rent storefronts, providing free breakfast for nearby sanitation workers, empty nest elderly, and left behind children every day. Wuxi has set up locations within the urban area, striving to serve all frontline sanitation workers and providing breakfast throughout the year, which is truly a big move and even more difficult. The first issue is funding. The meal standard is 6 yuan per meal. The quantity is considerable and the distribution is reasonable. For some sanitation workers, the distance is still relatively far and sometimes detours are needed.

Providing uninterrupted breakfast for 12000 people throughout the year is a greater challenge for subsequent supervision and continuous promotion. "Love breakfast" is achieved in the form of government purchasing social services. The quality of breakfast provided by relevant enterprises and whether it is supplied on time and in sufficient quantity all need to be managed and followed up. Sanitation workers have mobility, and the number and list of sanitation workers in the area need to be updated in a timely manner to avoid omissions or duplicate distribution.

"Love breakfast" is a small matter, it is not easy to do it well and continue to do it. "That's why we need to take the lead. In fact, there is a bigger "calculation" behind "love breakfast". Since 2020, Wuxi has been committed to building the "cleanest city" and creating a "city living room sitting on the ground". Shen Xiaodong said that the cleanliness of Wuxi requires the concerted efforts of the whole city, and frontline sanitation workers are the main force. The number of road washes has increased, dust has decreased, garbage bins on both sides of the main and secondary roads are missing, and the number of seasonal flowers and plants in the green belt in the middle of a batch of roads has increased. Cities become cleaner, and frontline sanitation workers need to pay more.
