According to the public resume, Wang Shan, male, Han nationality, was born in Beipiao City, Liaoning Province in January 1955. He started working in 1972 and joined the Communist Party of China in 1974. He has an on-the-job postgraduate degree, a master's degree and is a researcher. He once served as deputy minister of the United Front Work Department of the Liaoning Provincial Committee and deputy director of the Liaoning Provincial Committee of the CPPCC.
According to the website of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission on May 24, 2024, Wang Shan was expelled from the party for serious violations of discipline and law. Wang Shan seriously violated the Party's political discipline, organizational discipline, integrity discipline, and life discipline, which constituted a serious official violation and was suspected of bribery.
