The "Notice" covers six key tasks, including catering, culture, tourism and sports, shopping, bulk commodities, health care, elderly care and childcare, as well as the cultivation of new community consumption scenarios.

Wei Qijia, director and researcher of the Industrial Economics Research Office of the Economic Forecasting Department of the National Information Center, said in an interview with reporters that new technology fields have given rise to new consumption scenarios, and precise policy support is conducive to further boosting consumption. He emphasized that new consumption scenarios will emerge at a faster pace in the future, and traditional consumption and emerging consumption will achieve deep integration, jointly promoting the steady growth of the consumer market.

Wei Qijia believes that many new consumption scenarios are closely related to technological innovation. He emphasized that the "Notice" mentioned the support and cultivation of technology-related consumption scenarios, which will consolidate the existing consumption scenarios while giving rise to more new scenarios.

In terms of creating new scenarios for electronic product consumption, the reporter noticed that the newly "joined" robot team has injected unprecedented vitality into diversified consumption scenarios with its innovation and practicality.

At the same time, the Notice focuses on the cultivation of industry consumption scenarios and actively expands new consumption scenarios for the elderly. It proposes a number of specific measures, focusing on the elderly meal assistance industry, promoting the improvement of the quality of elderly meal assistance services, and providing subsidies and support for elderly meal assistance service institutions.

In the bustling streets of Harbin, there is a special place that has won praise from Mr. Zhang and his wife. This elderly-friendly restaurant, located near Mr. Zhang's home, not only solves their daily dining troubles, but also wins the love of many elderly people with its affordable prices and delicious meals.

In terms of cultivating new consumption scenarios for culture, tourism and sports, the Notice also proposes to improve the convenience level of inbound tourism. Specifically, we should continue to optimize entry-exit policies and measures, focusing on multiple consumption scenarios such as "food, accommodation, transportation, travel, shopping, and entertainment". For example, improve foreign language signs in public places, add multilingual services to applications such as map navigation software, and promote the acceptance of overseas bank cards... Provide practical help for inbound tourism and remove multiple obstacles such as language barriers and payment inconveniences.

In terms of visa exemption, on June 24, my country decided to implement a 15-day unilateral visa exemption policy for Polish citizens. Previously, China announced that it would include New Zealand and Australia in the scope of unilateral visa exemption countries, and decided to extend the visa exemption policy for 12 countries including France, Germany, and Italy until December 31, 2025. In addition, my country's cruise entry visa-free ports have also been expanded to 13.

Taking Beijing as an example, the reporter noticed that the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, together with relevant departments, has continuously improved the coverage rate of foreign card payments, improved the payment function of the municipal transportation card, explored adding QR code payment functions and connecting with domestic payment software, further improving the convenience of foreign tourists in purchasing tickets, dining, accommodation, travel, and reservations in Beijing.

As new consumption scenarios continue to emerge, consumption formats will become more diverse. Wei Qijia also expressed his expectation that the Notice will continue to track the implementation of various measures, form a joint force between the upper and lower levels, and promote the implementation of measures.
