The song "My Motherland and I" was sung again and again in Kashgar
It took 6 days and covered more than 10,000 kilometers from June 18 to 23. The "Cultural Xinjiang" team of Shanghai Century Publishing Group once again came to Kashgar to bring music and aesthetic education to the local area.
The team, which consists of 10 people including Huang Qiang, Party Secretary and Chairman of Shanghai Century Publishing Group, Sun Hongda, Party Secretary and President of Shanghai Music Publishing House, and Li Juan, Vice President, went to the Shanghai Front Command and relevant sub-commands to support Xinjiang, and conducted research on the cultural industries of Shache, Yecheng, Zepu and Bachu counties supported by Shanghai. In Bachu Vocational and Technical School, Shache No. 1 Middle School, Zepu County No. 8 Middle School and Yecheng County No. 2 Middle School, the patriotic education music classes of "My Motherland and I" always attract applause and singing from local students and young people.
This year marks the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. This red music class combines listening and appreciation, following the context of time, through vivid people, events, places, objects, and related music and images, combined with the theme publications of Shanghai Conservatory of Music, to review this great journey together.
In Bachu County, the music class that started at 9 p.m. was very popular. The actors walked off the stage, interacted with the students and sang. It was past 10 p.m. but the atmosphere was still warm. Dilibaier Wusman, a student at Bachu County Secondary Vocational and Technical School, said excitedly: "We enjoyed a wonderful music performance together. This performance not only showed the talent of the music team, but also made us review history, remember the heroes and be grateful to the motherland through the power of music."
At the No. 1 Middle School of Shache County, the Shanghai and Kashgar compatriots sang "My Motherland and I" affectionately, making music a bridge and bond connecting the people of Shanghai and Kashgar. Guo Gaihong, director of the Party Building Office of the Shache County Education Bureau, said: "In the emotional narration of the Shanghai teacher, the moving red characters, the inspiring red heroic deeds, and the courageous red revolutionary spirit touched us ideologically and sublimated our spirit."
At Yecheng County No. 2 Middle School, first-year high school student Sangba Dunzhu and his team members sang "China in Lights". The beautiful singing and melody lingered for a long time, bringing the music class to a climax.
At Yecheng County No. 2 Middle School, first-year high school student Sangba Dunzhu sang "China in Lights" with his team members.
Students from Zepu County No. 8 Middle School performed a wonderful "Opera Exercise" before the event. In the classroom, the students' bright smiles infected everyone on the scene. Everyone waved the national flag and sang "My Motherland and I" on and off the stage.
In 2023, Shanghai Music Publishing House conducted three trips to Kashgar, held the "Culture Nourishes Xinjiang" music aesthetic education lecture hall, and upgraded smart music classrooms for local schools. A year later, the team members came to the "Century Spark" smart music classroom of Zepu No. 8 Middle School again. When they saw the music teacher playing the smart piano to lead the students in music class and using the massive music digital resources such as "Music Sea Book Love" and "Piano Bus" of Shanghai Music Publishing House in daily teaching, they were very pleased. The teacher of Zepu No. 8 Middle School said that it was because the music education products from Shanghai were integrated into daily teaching that Zepu No. 8 Middle School became the first local school with music as its school feature.
