On June 23, the 2024 "Safety Production Month" theme event of Minhang District was held on Wanyuan Road. At the scene, with the appearance of a red "fire hydrant"-shaped building, the Gumei Public Safety Experience Hall was officially unveiled and put into use, promoting the transformation of national safety education from "didactic indoctrination" to "immersive experience".
Through modern exhibition technology, this experience hall has scientifically set up more than 10 scenes, including a simulated fire-fighting experience area, a telephone alarm experience area, and an electric bicycle driving experience area. It allows residents to gain in-depth knowledge of community fire safety, traffic safety, campus safety, first aid experience and other aspects in one stop through VR and interactive experiences, achieving integrated publicity that combines knowledge, fun, interactivity, education and professionalism.
"One museum for multiple uses" to enhance self-defense and self-rescue capabilities
According to reports, the experience center has functions such as property security and fire fighting skills training, safety education for primary and secondary school students, community safety publicity activities, and promotional video production, which can achieve "one center for multiple uses."
During the publicity and display session, a series of publicity boards on safety production, window and net removal, and fire safety knowledge attracted many residents to stop and watch. In front of a row of consultation desks, staff from the Gumei Road Sub-district Public Security Office, Security Management Center, Construction Management Center, Market Office and other departments were earnestly answering various safety questions raised by residents.
In addition to being the Gumei Public Safety Experience Hall, this red building is also a grassroots demonstration point for the integration of publicity by the Minhang Public Security Bureau, a safety training base for Shanghai Real Estate Development, and a first-level community micro fire station in Gumei Road Subdistrict. In the future, it will become an important platform for grassroots firefighting forces to be strengthened, and for citizens to learn safety knowledge, improve safety awareness, and respond to disasters.

It is understood that the battery swap cabinet is a facility that provides convenient battery replacement services for electric bicycles. With the increase in the number of electric bicycles, traditional charging methods can no longer meet the rapidly growing commercial and personal needs. Compared with charging cabinets and charging piles, battery swap cabinets can track battery conditions and are safer and more convenient.
