Xiong Shanchu, former general manager of Hubei Changyou Real Estate Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Hubei Changjiang Industrial Group, set up rents and sought rents, and solicited bribes in the name of "borrowing". From 2017 to 2020, Xiong Shanchu used his position as general manager of Changyou Company to help a private enterprise in the renewal of the operating rights of a gas station owned by Changyou Company and the leasing of a warehouse on a certain plot of land. He "borrowed" huge amounts of money from the heads of private enterprises on the grounds of his own or relatives' capital turnover many times, and was suspected of bribery.
