Witness the red dream-building journey of young people on the C919 production line
On June 12, 2024, the launching ceremony of the “Youth Red Dream Journey” of the China International College Student Innovation Competition was held at the COMAC Final Assembly and Manufacturing Center.
Young student representatives from all over the country, with the theme of "My job is in the countryside, in the workshop, in the desert, in the deep sea, and in the blue sky", emotionally shared their innovative and entrepreneurial practices in primary medical care, intelligent manufacturing, green environment, marine and air equipment and other fields, telling the vivid story of contemporary Chinese youth actively serving the country's urgent needs and integrating their youthful struggles into the cause of the Party and the people; the "Qian Xuesen Digital Man" generated by AI technology told the story of "My Job is in China", encouraging young students to inherit the spirit of the older generation of scientists, persevere in their efforts to serve the country, and jointly create a "China Golden Course" that integrates party history education, national conditions and ideological and political education, innovative practice, rural revitalization, and red dream building.
Zhang Xuanye, an undergraduate student at Harbin Engineering University, shared his experience of "My Job is in the Deep Sea", in which he recounted his experience of boarding a research vessel to the Western Pacific with 17 scientific expedition team members to deploy a domestically-made deep-sea acoustic releaser in the deep sea of 7,000 meters.
Shi Ruichuan, a doctoral student in oncology at China Medical University, and Zhang Yingfan, an undergraduate student of clinical medicine at the same university, told the story of how they became members of the 18th generation of the Red Doctors Cradle and went deep into rural areas to provide medical knowledge and treatment services to thousands of people.
Wu Chengbo, project leader of the project team "Smart Welding - Leader in Wide-Width Ultra-High-Speed Laser Deep Melting Welding Technology" of Jiangsu Shipping Vocational and Technical College, and Wang Meijian, project leader of "Breakthrough Tool for Micron-Level Multi-Axis Machining" of Nanjing University of Industry, tell stories about their positions in the workshop.
Nie Qixia, a doctoral student at Chongqing Jiaotong University, told the story of their "desert soilification" ecological restoration research team's sand control. At present, their technology has been successfully used in more than 20 deserts, Gobi, islands and reefs, and desertified grasslands at home and abroad, and the area of transformation has reached 40,000 mu.
The competition's "Youth Red Dream Journey" activity is themed "Rooted in the Land of China, Innovative Dream Building for Youth".
