According to the agreement signed by the three units, the Shanghai Aquatic Wildlife Protection Research Center is responsible for the daily management of the ecological environment judicial protection base built in the Chinese Sturgeon Dream Park, and provides facts, damages, etc. for judicial cases involving wildlife protection. provide technical support. Shanghai No. 3 Intermediate People's Court and Chongming Court are mainly responsible for the publicity of ecological and environmental judicial cases and the coordination, liaison and implementation of ecological restoration matters related to the cases, and provide legal support for the protection of wild animals and plants.
The three units have also set up circuit trial points in the cooperation area of the Chinese Sturgeon Dream Park, and organized the public to participate in auditing activities when carrying out circuit trials of typical environmental investment cases to expand the publicity effect of typical cases and achieve "one case, one education".
The Chongming Court also hired seven experts as technical investigators for the court’s environmental resources trials to provide “multi-field professional” technical support for environmental resources trials.
The seven technical investigators hired this time are all authorities in the field of ecological and environmental expertise. Their professional scope covers wildlife protection, ecological environment monitoring, agricultural and rural administrative law enforcement and supervision, waterbird habitat restoration and other fields. For example, technical investigator Wu Wei has a doctorate in animal ecology and is currently a senior engineer at the Shanghai Chongming Dongtan Nature Reserve Management Affairs Center. He has long been responsible for waterbird monitoring in the reserve.
