Is it more stressful to get business done at a government service center in a district of Shanghai than to see a doctor at a tertiary hospital?" The article reported that the Fengxian District Administrative Service Center encountered difficulties in handling matters such as business cancellation and registration information changes, such as being unable to make an appointment online or grab an appointment offline.
In the evening of the same day, relevant departments of Fengxian District responded that in response to the above problems, a series of targeted improvement measures have been formulated, including: no restrictions on on-site number collection, and the number of numbers issued for online appointments has been increased from the original 160 per day to 270; 4 service windows have been added to the registration hall of the Fengxian District Administrative Service Center, and the relevant business handling authority has been delegated to 12 local markets to facilitate enterprises to handle matters nearby; additional window business processing personnel and hall assistant staff have been dispatched to the Administrative Service Center; service hours have been extended, one hour earlier in the morning every weekday, no break at noon, and one hour longer in the evening, with special services on weekends; policy publicity and interpretation have been carried out in the park enterprises on a voluntary basis, etc.

There were still many people who handled corporate information changes, especially capital reduction or cancellation. In front of the service desk, four staff members were assisting enterprises or individuals in pre-examination of materials and taking numbers on the spot. At the same time, they also printed out the addresses and contact information of the 12 local markets in Fengxian District to each staff member, guiding them to handle the matters nearby as needed.

Four windows near the service desk have also been added as special windows for capital reduction and cancellation, and each window is equipped with 1 to 2 staff members. According to reports, based on the materials submitted by the enterprise or individual and the business to be handled, the service desk will divert the number of applications to the special window according to the number of applications received by the existing windows on site to reduce waiting time. After learning that the local market office can also handle the business of enterprise information change, Ms. Lin, who runs a business in Zhelin Town, also felt that it was much more convenient.
