Children from Sansha, Hainan and Tengchong, Yunnan participated in the International Children's Language Art Competition, attracting more than 50,000 people
On June 9, the final and award ceremony of the 10th International Children's Language Art Competition was held at the Jing'an District Cultural Center. The competition was themed "I will start to speak about strengthening the country, and strive to be a good boy of the times". Through multi-dimensional sub-competition questions, the children were guided to become little orators, explore the red imprint, tell the red history, and inherit the red bloodline. In combination with current hot topics, they talked about the power of role models in various fields such as science and technology and economy, and sang classics in poetry and songs.
This year's competition attracted more than 50,000 young contestants to sign up, and for the first time, the online topic collection channel of Xiaohongshu was opened. Children from Yongxing School in Sansha City, Hainan Province participated remotely via online video. A teacher from Yongxing School in Sansha City said that the competition allowed children to convey and communicate with each other, broaden their horizons, and express their vision for a strong country in the future.
The series of activities "Poetry Sharing Sessions from Far Away" is a new attempt of this year's competition, actively exploring digital transformation. With the cooperation of Xinhua Media Chain Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Shanghai Media Group, this year's event established contact with children in mountainous areas and students of Shanghai Xinhua Hope Primary School in Tengchong, Yunnan for the first time. The host of Haha Xuandong TV has an online dialogue with the children and listens to the voices from afar. The organizer of the event, Shanghai Radio and Television Station Little Star Group, and Shanghai Xinhua Media Chain Co., Ltd. will bring books and cultural, educational and daily necessities to the children when they support education in mountainous areas at the end of June, and try to use more methods to open a window for the children.

The 10th Anniversary Special Commemorative Medal Award Ceremony of the Language Arts Competition
This year is the 10th year of the Language Arts Competition. More than 300,000 children expressed their dreams and expectations with their voices and emotions on this stage. During the award ceremony, Zhao Guoqiang, director of the Municipal Youth Working Committee and chief counselor of the Municipal Young Pioneers, awarded special commemorative medals for the 10th anniversary of the Language Arts Competition to representatives of the winners of the competition in the past 10 years. Kong Yun, the silver medal winner of the First International Children's Language Arts Competition, received the commemorative medal as a representative. She said, "The Language Arts Competition has witnessed my growth. It is a very meaningful event to communicate with children all over the country. I hope The competition is getting better and better.”
Also on the judging panel for the final of this year’s competition was Zan Haoyuan, a member of the Shanghai Red Scarf Council and a student at the Affiliated School of Jing’an District Education College, representing the Young Pioneers’ integration into their own activities and establishing a sense of being a little master. In the future, the competition will further enhance its professionalism and radiation coverage, expand competition channels for children from more areas, promote the cultivation of new talents in language expression, and make the competition a communication card for Shanghai to display to the outside world.
The competition is guided by the Shanghai Charity Foundation, hosted by Shanghai Radio and Television Station and the Shanghai Young Pioneers Working Committee, undertaken by Shanghai Radio and Television Station Little Star Group, and co-organized by Shanghai Xinhua Media Chain Co., Ltd. under the Shanghai Media Group.
