Behind the surge in flights is the increasing inbound and outbound passenger flow. The Shanghai border inspection authorities have made every effort to ensure smooth customs clearance at summer ports by timely issuing clearance instructions, optimizing police deployment, and opening sufficient inspection channels. For transit and transit passengers, the Shanghai border inspection authorities strictly implement the facilitation measures of "144 hour visa free transit between Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai", "24-hour visa free transit", and "24-hour direct transit without border inspection procedures", actively creating a better entry and exit experience. According to statistics, since July 1st, the number of passengers who have processed 144 hour visa free, 24-hour visa free, and 24-hour direct border inspection procedures for Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai through Pudong International Airport has exceeded 90000.
While air passenger flow continues to rise, the recovery momentum of international cruise tourism continues to stabilize and improve. The number of cruise ships entering and exiting through Wusongkou International Cruise Port and Shanghai Port International Passenger Transport Center Port reached 37 times.
In order to maintain national political security and overall stability at ports, during this year's summer travel rush, Shanghai border inspection agencies carried out in-depth summer security crackdowns and crackdowns, severely cracking down on various cross-border illegal and criminal activities at ports. Since July, more than 100 suspected cross-border illegal and criminal personnel have been investigated and dealt with at ports, solidly strengthening the national security defense line.
