On the afternoon of June 14th, Jiangchuan Road Street in Minhang District held the "A Hundred Rivers Facing the Sea Together for a Better Future" -2023 Jiangchuan Party Building Leading Grassroots Governance Work Promotion Meeting, and released the Jiangchuan Area and Street Grid Operation Work Plan and Village Grid Operation Work Plan. In the future, the focus will be on the sinking of party building work, public opinion collection, service agency, and conflict resolution into the grid, effectively achieving the goal of "not leaving the grid for small matters and not leaving the community for urgent matters".
The grid of seven areas in Jiangchuan was also awarded on site. Next, Jiangchuan will gather various forces and strive to mobilize, integrate and play the role of party organizations and party members in various fields, transforming the grassroots "periphery" into a governance "outpost", and promoting the transformation of grassroots party building from "individual combat" to "centralized and integrated combat".
At the promotion meeting, the organizer also unveiled the plaque for the Jiangchuan Branch of the "Beautiful Community" Governance College, and released the faculty, curriculum, and route. They also issued appointment letters to the mentors of the "Practice Mentors" studio at the Jiangchuan Branch. It is reported that in order to strengthen the cultivation of various governance forces, Jiangchuan will unite various "beautiful community partners", rely on the Jiangchuan Road Street Community Party School, and operate the Jiangchuan Branch of the Minhang District "Beautiful Community" Governance College in a physical manner.
During the event, three representatives of local neighborhood secretaries took the stage to share their practical achievements on the "Beautiful Community" seed plan. This was also showcased as a demonstration venue for the subsequent "Secretary's Arena Competition" in the street.
Among them, the case of a residential area in Hebei is quite enlightening. It is reported that the Xincun community in Hebei was first built in the 1990s. At that time, the vast majority of the owners came from the "Four Great Kings", mainly state-owned enterprises such as steam turbine plants, electric motor plants, and heavy-duty plants. Now, it has also attracted many new generation employees and new Shanghai residents to move in. At present, there are 6589 permanent residents in the community and 414 registered party members.
On November 5th last year, the "Beautiful Community and Happy Homeland" action was launched in Jiangchuan Road Street, planning to create a "1+5" "Beautiful Community" sample in Jiangchuan - that is, one city level Beautiful Community and five Jiangchuan Homeland samples. The first batch of 10 regional party building member units, known as "Beautiful Community Partners," were launched to jointly build a "Happy Homeland" with beautiful ideas, environment, neighbors, culture, and pioneers. Paired with the first living quarters in Hebei are Shanghai Steam Turbine Factory and Shanghai Fifth People's Hospital.
With the help of the "Beautiful Community Partner", the residential area has explored and implemented the "Four Color Seed" plan.
Among them, the "Red Seed" Party Building Leading Action refers to the efforts of the Hebei Yiju Party Branch to expand its circle of friends, find more co construction units, and provide residents with various forms of convenient services, including on-site photo shoots, free maintenance services, elderly care policy consultation, and free haircuts.
The "Green Seed" environmental protection assistance action has richer content. For example, in some areas where loess is exposed, the residential area collaborates with the Minhang District Science and Technology Committee, the children of Minhang First Kindergarten, and representatives of workers in the steam turbine residential community to carry out tree planting and adoption activities, conveying the concept of green protection and environmental protection to residents.
The "White Seed" health protection action, together with Shanghai Fifth People's Hospital and other units, launched a series of health services, especially pulse taking, acupuncture and moxibustion and cupping, which are particularly popular among residents.
The "Blue Seed" volunteer service action mainly refers to earnestly practicing the spirit of volunteer service, widely mobilizing party members and key members of the masses to participate in community environmental improvement, carrying out publicity such as installing elevators and aging friendly renovation, and encouraging more young people to join community construction and demonstrate vitality.

The leaders of Minhang District pointed out on site that in combination with the new situation of social development, streets, towns, and villages are actively exploring new paths of party building leading grassroots governance.
