At the press conference, it was learned that in recent years, Yangpu has been continuously strengthening and optimizing the artificial intelligence industry, accelerating the construction of an artificial intelligence industry ecosystem that integrates talent, technology, data, products, and industry application scenarios, and encouraging capable enterprises to cooperate with universities in cutting-edge fields such as AI generated content and large models for research and development; Support enterprises to collaborate with professional platforms in universities to enhance the research and design capabilities of micro control unit chips, on-site programmable gate array chips, automotive electronic chips, information security chips, storage chips, etc; Utilize the advantages of local enterprises in algorithm capabilities and scenario data to provide support for the research and expansion of artificial intelligence algorithms; By relying on various carriers such as parks and incubators, we will accelerate the cultivation and aggregation of artificial intelligence and big data enterprises, and promote the upgrading of Shanghai Cloud Computing Innovation Base and Shanghai Big Data Innovation Base.
At the same time, Yangpu supports the improvement of the layout of cutting-edge disciplines, increases the integration of interdisciplinary development, and fully supports universities such as Fudan University, Tongji University, and Shanghai University of Technology to promote the construction of "basic research special zones" and strive for pilot expansion. Collaborating with Fudan University to build the Shanghai "AI for Science" Innovation Center, optimizing research organization methods, and exploring new research paradigms; Support Tongji University in exploring the construction of talent zones in basic research disciplines such as physics and chemistry, and collaborate with Tongji University to build a national level independent intelligent future industry science and technology park. A group of large model enterprises have emerged in Yangpu District. The Volcano Engine has launched a large model of the Volcano Ark, providing comprehensive functions such as model training, inference, evaluation, and fine-tuning, as well as stable and reliable security and mutual trust solutions; Ukede launches an intelligent cloud platform to improve total factor productivity; Fudan University and Alibaba Cloud jointly build the CFFF intelligent computing platform, launching a multidisciplinary and innovative AI for Science computing cluster called "Qiewen No.1" and a dedicated high-performance computing cluster called "Jinsi No.1", focusing on the system requirements of high performance, low energy consumption, flexibility, stability, and strong scalability, and building a solid computing infrastructure.
Yangpu District said that in the new stage, it will focus on shaping the leading function of high-end industries, take the digital economy as a core leadership, and "intelligence+" and "Internet plus" as two key directions, develop three hundred billion level industrial clusters of online new economy, intelligent manufacturing, and creative design, and forward-looking layout four emerging fields of science and technology services, artificial intelligence, life health, and green low-carbon.
