Minhang District has launched a series of national defense education activities, including learning ideas, listening to stories, visiting positions, and learning skills
Recently, the 2023 Minhang District National Defense Education Series of Activities was announced to be launched, featuring not only a theme exhibition on national defense education, but also 13 representative national defense education platforms. The first batch of community counselors for national defense education were appointed to empower the widespread implementation of national defense education volunteer services.
In conjunction with the "National Defense Education Month" series of activities, Minhang District, relying on the resources of the New Era Civilization Practice Center, has launched the "Vigorously Strengthening National Defense, Bravely Advancing towards Revitalization" 2023 Minhang District National Defense Education Theme Exhibition, which will be open to the public from today until October 15th.
The exhibition integrates characteristic projects such as the Minhang Red Culture Short Audio Series and the National Revitalization Youwo @ Minli Ideological and Political Series. Through six chapters of "Ideological Torch, Road to Strengthening the Army, Shield for Protecting the People, Red Memory, National Defense, and National Defense Encyclopedia," it leads the masses to fully and immersively experience the spiritual power of "Building the Great Wall of the Country Together" through learning ideas, listening to stories, visiting positions, learning skills, answering questions, and other links, presenting a perceptible, learnable, and interactive national defense force.
In recent years, Minhang District has focused on national defense education for all, tailored to local conditions to create immersive learning platforms, innovatively launched brand activities that are popular among citizens, and cultivated a large number of advanced models. The belief that "there is me for the rejuvenation of a strong country" has taken root and flourished on this land.
Taking advantage of this event, Minhang District has launched the "National rejuvenation with me @ Minli Ideological and Political Education - Minhang District National Defense Education Practice Route". The first batch of 13 representative national defense education positions have been launched, including Minhang District Martyrs Cemetery, Yan Tongyu Martyrs Memorial Site, Minhang District Civil Defense Science Popularization Education Hall, Shanghai Aviation Science Popularization Hall, etc. Among them, there are patriotic education bases, red culture bases, as well as hard core knowledge learning and practice bases for civil air defense and disaster prevention and reduction. There are also exhibition positions such as Shanghai Aerospace Innovation Education Exhibition Hall, which showcase the importance of national defense and national defense science and industry. The height of national defense, historical temperature, and strength of civil defense are fully displayed on this practice route.
Minhang District has also integrated various resources, stimulated social forces, and gathered a group of excellent teams related to national defense education. Based on this, it has explored the establishment of a community counselor alliance for national defense education, empowering the widespread implementation of national defense education volunteer services.
At the launch ceremony on that day, seven team representatives, including the Civil Defense Community Propaganda Team, Minli Ideological and Political Lecturer Team, "Haibin and His Friends" Volunteer Service Team, Literary and Art Volunteer Service Team, Patriotic Education Base Red Culture Explanator Team, and Excellent Veterans Volunteer Service Team, were hired as the first batch of national defense education community counselors in Minhang.
