Let first aid knowledge penetrate into thousands of households, and the Putuo District "one-stop" emergency training registration platform has been fully launched
September 9th this year is the 24th World First Aid Day. On the afternoon of September 9th, the Red Cross Society of Putuo District held a ceremony in Changfeng Joy City to launch the "Digital Empowerment 'Save' by Your Side" - the 2023 Putuo District Commemorative "World First Aid Day" Theme Activity and the "One Stop Service" Rescue Training Registration Platform for 10 streets and towns.
It is understood that in order to promote the application of information technology in the field of emergency rescue training, accelerate the digital transformation of the Red Cross Society, and further facilitate citizens to register for emergency rescue training, this year, the Red Cross Society of Putuo District has added the "Red Cross Emergency Rescue Popularization Training Registration" feature service to the "One Network Service" platform "Suishenban" App Putuo flagship store. Starting from June, it has been piloted and launched in Caoyang Xincun Street and Changfeng Xincun Street, respectively. This is another online registration method after the "Shanghai Putuo Red Cross" opened an emergency training registration entrance on its official WeChat account. After more than two months of trial operation, nearly 200 citizens participated in the registration and training of the "One Stop Service" platform.
In order to better promote this public welfare training project, the Red Cross Society of Putuo District, together with ten streets and towns in the entire district, will launch the "One Network Service" emergency training registration platform, further optimize services, improve skills, and enhance the sense of gain for the masses.
At the same time, in order to further enhance the Internet humanitarian resource mobilization capacity of the Red Cross system and allow more patients to receive relief, the city and district Red Cross systems planned a public welfare fund-raising activity for the "Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation Relief" project on the occasion of the ninth "99 Public Welfare Day". During the fundraising period, kind-hearted individuals from various communities, enterprises, schools, and others in Putuo District actively shared donation links and generously donated money, sending warmth and care to patients.
There are currently 40 registered training teachers active on the front line of teaching in Putuo. They adhere to the spirit of the Red Cross and are running on the path of spreading first aid knowledge. They go deep into communities, campuses, parks, and commercial buildings, and provide emergency rescue certification training for more than 20000 people every year. They have become a backbone of Putuo's rescue training work. On that day, 9 registered trainers were awarded the 2023 district level emergency rescue training teacher certificates.
At the event, a single event on emergency skills was held, which was divided into four categories: cardiopulmonary resuscitation+AED, bandaging, fracture fixation and handling, and special injury treatment. The Putuo District Red Cross People's Hospital team and Putuo District Liqun Red Cross Hospital team in the hospital group, the Zhenru Wenying Center Primary School team and Yichuan Middle School Affiliated School team in the school group, the Long March Town Red Cross Rescue Team and Taopu Town Red Cross Rescue Team in the community group, and the Ele.me Cavalry Team and Yuantong Express Team in the new employment group compete on the same platform. In the end, the Putuo District Red Cross Hospital team, Zhenru Wenying Center Primary School team, Long March Town Red Cross Rescue team, and Ele.me Cavalry team won the competition.
"We hope that at least one member of every family has participated in the Red Cross emergency rescue training, and every disaster or accident site should have Red Cross rescuers participating in first aid." The relevant person in charge of the Red Cross Society in Putuo District stated that they will continue to promote rescue training in communities, campuses, and parks, actively cultivate excellent rescue training teachers, connect the "last mile" of rescue training, and make "rescue" by their side, so that first aid knowledge can penetrate into thousands of households and raise the hope of "life" for more people.
