On September 11, the "Eternal Oath - Cultural Relics and Historical Materials Exhibition of the CPC's Pledge to Join the Party" was opened in the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China Memorial Hall, with 270 precious cultural relics and historical materials on display.
This exhibition is divided into four parts. The preface hall "I Oath" creates a large multimedia immersive experience space, fully utilizing visual and auditory atmosphere rendering, and using passionate and inspiring oath songs and historical scenes to enable the audience to deeply understand the profound semantics behind the party oath. The first unit "The Original Aspiration to Forge the Oath" is based on existing historical materials and literature related to the oath of joining the Communist Party, combined with the latest research results in the field of history, to explain the evolution process of the oath of joining the Communist Party over the past century in a simple and concise manner. The second unit, "I swear with my blood", tells the touching stories of a group of outstanding CPC people who annotate the "oath" with their actions and practice the "oath" with their lives, and realizes the concrete expression of the abstract connotation of the oath of joining the party with true and vivid character stories. The tail hall praises the mission to the party with a fist like heart, and a screening hall is set up to play a micro movie with an oath theme, condensing and elevating the exhibition theme and triggering emotional resonance among the audience. "No matter how the oath of joining the Communist Party develops, the original aspiration and mission of communists remain unchanged. We must also learn from these exemplary practices in our positions and strive to create new achievements that are worthy of the birthplace of the Party." After visiting the exhibition, Li Pengzhan, the political instructor of the Songshan Fire Rescue Station of the Huangpu District Fire Rescue Detachment, said.
A large number of precious cultural relics and historical materials also appeared in the exhibition. In the first unit, it includes the physical documents related to the oath of joining the party from the new democratic revolution period to the new era, from the first program and the first party constitution of the CPC, to the Communist Party Textbook, the Constitution of the Communist Party and the voluntary documents of joining the party in different ages, which reflects the evolution of the oath of joining the party of the CPC all the way with material evidence and material history. The second unit of the exhibition focuses on the relevant articles and works of outstanding Communist Party members and groups in various periods, such as Deng Zhongxia's "Overview of the Strikes in Guangdong and Hong Kong", martyr Fang Zhimin's posthumous work "Lovely China" in prison, and Dr. Zhao Jian's certificate medal of "National exemplary individual in Poverty Alleviation", which reflects the belief power and great spirit of the models through the real deeds behind the objects. At the same time, the exhibition also uses more than 200 seals of revolutionary martyrs of the CPC carved in traditional art to form the party emblem wall, which shows the revolutionary spirit of the CPC for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
The exhibition also focuses on exploring innovative breakthroughs in the form of revolutionary cultural relics themed exhibitions, using interactive queries, flipping devices and other experiential exhibition items in multiple places, encouraging audiences to actively explore more exhibition information. In front of the interactive screen, He Xudong, a party member of China Shipbuilding Heavy Industry 726 Research Institute, checked his membership days and said, "5286 days, I can't believe I have been honored to join the party for so long! I will continue to remember my original intention and strive to make greater contributions."
"The oath of joining the Communist Party is the cornerstone of every party member's party spirit, and its historical evolution and ideological power are very rich." Xue Feng, the director of the Memorial Hall of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China, said that the museum will create a "Eternal Oath" themed exhibition to provide a "living" textbook for the second batch of themed education.
