On the spot direct attack | can straw also be turned into a painting? Watching intangible cultural heritage masters showcase their unique skills on site
"With just a soldering iron and a few straw, I can make exquisite handicrafts," said Bai Bo, a rural handicraft master and inheritor of the intangible cultural heritage of straw painting in Sichuan Province, which is irresistibly convincing.
As an ancient folk art, straw painting has a history of over 1500 years in China. In the past, skilled craftsmen in the folk had a sudden idea, using common wheat straw to undergo multiple processes such as fumigation, cutting, splicing, ironing, coloring, and pasting, ultimately turning decay into magic, turning the wheat straw originally used for firewood into exquisite art.
At the second National Vocational Skills Competition's "Top 10 Most Popular Skills Exhibition Projects," Bo Bo demonstrated this skill to the audience.
