China is willing to strengthen cooperation with the Asian Olympic Council, jointly promote the cause of the Asian Olympic Games, and enhance the unity of the Asian people.
This is the third time China has hosted the Asian Games since the 1990 Beijing Asian Games and the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games. The number of athletes participating in this year's Asian Games, project settings, and overall scale have all reached historic highs. The Chinese government and people have the confidence and ability to host a sports event with Chinese characteristics, Asian style, and splendid diversity, enhancing the unity and friendship of Asian people, and leaving an unforgettable memory of Hangzhou for the world.
