375 tons of potatoes are being transported to Bangkok, known as the "Potato Capital of China", opening a new Southeast Asian trade and land sea channel
On the afternoon of September 16th, the first special train for cold chain iron sea intermodal transportation of potatoes in Dingxi, Gansu Province was dispatched. 375.1 tons of potatoes worth over 130000 US dollars are expected to be transported to Bangkok, Thailand in 20 days.
The potato planting area and yield in Gansu Province currently rank third in the country. Dingxi City, as the largest potato virus-free breeding base in the country, has a stable potato planting area of 3 million mu and a yield of 5 million tons.

To ensure the smooth operation of the cold chain special train for China Qingdao Port Thailand rail sea intermodal transportation, departments such as commerce and customs have tailored a "one train, one policy" customs clearance plan and provided full process tracking and guidance services. The opening of the special train marks the official opening of a new land sea channel for economic and trade exchanges between Dingxi, the "Potato Capital of China" and Southeast Asia.
