Sound moves the whole city! The 2023 Shanghai Broadcasting Festival will debut next week
The 2023 Shanghai Radio Festival, guided by the China Federation of Radio and Television Social Organizations, the Propaganda Department of the Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, and the Shanghai Radio and Television Bureau, will be held from September 21 to September 24, hosted by Shanghai Radio and Television Station, Shanghai Culture, Radio and Television Group Co., Ltd., and Shanghai Radio and Television Association. Radio and television media colleagues from all over the country will gather together to discuss innovative development in the radio and television industry.
The Shanghai Broadcasting Festival was founded in 2015, covering a wide range of activities such as industry exchanges, innovation seminars, audience interactions, cultural performances, and boutique exhibitions. After years of development and cultivation, it has become a well-known annual comprehensive industry event in China's broadcasting industry.
Event schedule
On the first day of the broadcast festival, the 5th China Voice Conference will be the first to appear. The conference is themed "Sound, Everything is Possible" and invites representatives from the automotive industry, leading figures in the intelligent audio industry, and experts and professors from Tongji University's AIGC to participate. Starting from the automotive scene, the conference explores a new business model that enables explosive growth in intelligent audio consumption in the era of intelligent Internet of Things. Relying on the advantages of the SMG brand, China Sound Conference collaborates with industry leaders and regional government resources to explore the future development of the audio industry, aiming to create an industry brand of "audio+AI+terminal".
As one of the Shanghai Broadcasting Brand Activities, the 18th "Oriental Fantasy" Broadcasting Innovation Activity Honor Ceremony with the theme of "Discovery · New Voice Power" will also be held on September 21, and various honorary titles will be announced on site.
Since the start of the collection of works on May 27th this year, a total of 157 works and cases have been received from broadcasting and television institutions, podcast brands, and university teachers and students from 20 provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the central government, and special administrative regions across the country. After evaluation, a total of 26 works and cases were shortlisted. The shortlisted podcast works have a variety of themes, including sound documentaries that practice the "Four Forces", are rooted at the grassroots level, conduct thorough research, conduct solid interviews, and have rich real-life experiences, as well as specialized audio products that strive to deepen understanding and explain professional knowledge.
The Archimedes Voice Festival held on September 22 will continue the characteristics of brand activities and release the ten major trends of Chinese broadcasting. At the same time, the eighth Archimedes New Media Forum will take "voice changes life" as the theme, share market data and voice trend observation of the media industry with industry experts and celebrities, and discuss the future development trend of "people audio life" of Chinese digital broadcasting based on the cases and breakthroughs of digital broadcasting, Internet traffic and podcasting integration development.
The 2023 Shanghai Radio Festival has also prepared a series of activities for citizens. After three years of absence, "Jiuzhou Baixi" will once again be sung in Shencheng. The classic Chinese opera concert "Jiuzhou Baixi · Full Moon Mid Autumn Festival", jointly launched by Shanghai People's Broadcasting Station and Baishitong, will be held on the evening of September 22. With the theme of "Full Moon Reunion", classic singing segments such as Shanghai opera "Thunderstorm · People's Hope for Double Moons and Full Moon", Huangmei opera "Cowherd and Weaver Girl · More Joy in the Underworld", and Suzhou danci "White Snake · Appreciation of Mid Autumn Festival" will take turns to showcase the charm of local operas.

On the evening of September 23rd, the 7th "Favorite Gold Songs Chart" Music Festival, hosted by Love Radio103.7, will be held at the Mercedes Benz Cultural Center. Strong singers such as Lin Zhixuan, Xu Meijing, Lv Fang, Meng Tingwei, Huang Shujun, Pan Meichen, Huang Qishan, Zhang Dongliang, Huang Dawei, and Cai Chunjia will also perform on stage. The honor of "Favorite Gold Songs" for this year will also be announced on site.
As an annual offline gathering of Shanghai Broadcasting and listeners, the "Live Broadcast Show" will appear on September 24th, and the host and guests will embark on a carnival with the sound of radio waves.
This year's Shanghai Broadcasting Festival will also launch a "Shanghai High Quality Development Research Tour", inviting guests to conduct in-depth grassroots research.
