The sharing session showcases the unique charm of Jiangnan art by tracing the development of Pingtan art in Jiangnan. Gao Bowen and Tao Yingyun performed clips from "The Beautiful Scenery of Gusu" and "The Yingying Playing the Qin", sharing the five aesthetic principles of Pingtan: "reason, detail, interest, novelty, and taste". "Using performance as a platform to incubate and cultivate a young audience has been the goal of our Lingang Performing Arts Center since its launch." Shi Yuanyuan, General Manager of Lingang Performing Arts Center, said, "Our theater is a young theater, and Lingang is a 'new city' where young people gather. For such a new field and space, culture and art are the best carriers that can allow each other to undergo 'chemical reactions'."
She introduced that during the series of performances, Lingang Performing Arts Center also invited Wang Rousang and Sheng Shuyang, the lead actors of "Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai" from Shanghai Yue Opera House, to enter the theater's open day and share the behind the scenes stories of "Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai" with the audience. Wang Rousang and Sheng Shuyang performed a scene of "Eighteen Farewells" on site. The audience put on their costumes and were guided by the actors with their hands. Although the movements were somewhat amateurish, the atmosphere of laughter and mutual learning fully amplified the charm of Yue Opera.

The Lingang Performing Arts Center has left a deep impression on Gu Haohao, the Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the Shanghai Opera Art Center. "This kind of theater is a work of art, and actors perform in such a good place with a sense of ceremony, cherishing and respecting their profession more." Gu Haohao once visited Shanghai Maritime University in Lingang New City. "In recent years, Lingang has developed rapidly, and the Lingang Performing Arts Center promotes the simultaneous development of science, technology, and art. We hope that the Shanghai Opera Troupe can take root in Lingang and cultivate young audiences to enter the theater."
On the first night of the series of "China-Chic September Lingang Opera Style", Gu Haohao was stopped by young fans at the gate of the theater for a group photo. Many young people who come from afar first store their luggage in the theater before watching the play. Shanghai Yue Opera Theater performed "A Dream of Red Mansions" at the Lingang Performing Arts Center, and sold 200 tickets within 2 hours after invoicing, which contributed to the series of performances of "China-Chic September Lingang Opera Style".

Lingang residents and opera fans can see famous plays at their doorsteps, and the opera has conquered the audience with unique beauty."
"10 years ago, I came to Dishui Lake. The place was too big and comfortable, but there was no one around." This time, Kunqu opera performer Zhang Jingxian came to the Hong Kong Performing Arts Center to perform, "the speed from the city center to Lingang is much faster, the roads are well repaired, the theater is good, the greenery is good, and the popularity is also sufficient."
Beijing opera performing artist Shang Changrong remembers that 20 years ago, he returned to Shanghai by hovercraft from Putuo and landed near Lingang, before the construction of the Donghai Bridge. After 20 years, Lingang has undergone a great transformation, with towering buildings and a Lingang Performing Arts Center that rivals international standards. "The Lingang Performing Arts Center is very advanced in terms of sound, light, and back-end facilities. It provides a platform for excellent traditional culture in Lingang, a place where young people gather. We use the most exquisite singing, recitation, and dance, as well as the most beautiful melodies to tell the stories of ancient, modern, and modern China. How wonderful!"

Lingang Performing Arts Center
As the first comprehensive theater with over 800 seats in the Lingang area, the Performing Arts Center located by Dishui Lake was officially opened in March. Together with surrounding conference and exhibition venues, smart libraries, and hotels, it forms a rich ecosystem, providing more possibilities for public cultural activities and experiences.
"Watching a play in the city center, the audience will arrive at the theater at 6 or 7 pm and return home after finishing the show. When coming to Hong Kong to watch a play, they can take a day trip, first visit the planetarium, Dishui Lake, taste Pudong's unique cuisine during the day, and then come to the Lingang Performing Arts Center at night." Gu Haohao believes that the rich tourism resources and cultural performances in the surrounding areas of Lingang can create a bustling cultural and tourism consumption check-in point. "Lingang has beautiful scenery, modern theaters, exciting performances, and high-quality hotels, which are enough to attract more weekend and holiday crowds."
