It turned out that this group of special children were responding, and a drumbeat could be heard from the audience
In the audience, everyone held drums and pounded hard, causing a loud noise on and off the stage. On September 15th, the special performance of "Volunteer to Light up the Starry Sky, Make Love No Longer Lonely" and "You Are a Performer 2: Super Golden Bell Drum" caring for children with autism was held at the Wanping Theater. Through music, we lit up our dreams and allowed "starry children" to experience the beauty of art and the warmth of life.
In order to further strengthen the care and attention of the whole society towards children with autism, and to play the role of civilized practice and volunteer service in helping to care for special groups, the performance invites "Star Children" from various districts of Shanghai to enter the theater and participate in interaction. The stage curtain is dotted with starlight, and the rhythmic Jinbei drum plays joyful notes under the children's tapping, allowing them to freely release themselves in the theater, which is usually relatively quiet.

The music is uplifting
"As soon as the music comes out, the child is particularly happy. It's not just my child, but the whole room is boiling." A parent of an autistic child smiled and said, "The child didn't pay so much attention in class. This time, he watched the performance online and immersed himself in the music from start to finish. Percussion music is uplifting, and he can't help but cooperate. Moreover, the musician is experienced and can control the rhythm, allowing the child to knock whenever they should and not knock, which is also helpful for cultivating self-control in the child."

The busiest audience seat
The teacher said that she saw the most beautiful smile on the children's faces, which was a heartfelt smile. A live interactive stage with a strong sense of melody, mobilizing children's auditory and rhythmic senses, allowing them to communicate and interact with performers during physical coordination, and experience a 100% sense of participation.

Before the performance, the Municipal Civilization Office awarded the Wanping Theater and Dachuan Culture a "Donation Certificate" issued by the Municipal Volunteer Association. As the only cultural venue in Shanghai to receive this certificate in 2023, Wanping Theater combines educational activities to promote culture and art, and carries out various volunteer service activities for civilized practice, helping to care for special groups. The theater helped special groups to make "colorful bamboo woven bags" on the spot by doing rich and wonderful activities with Dawanji China-Chic.
The special performance for caring for children with autism was led by the Municipal Civilization Office, in collaboration with the Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau, the Municipal Disabled Persons' Federation, the Municipal Volunteer Association, and the Shanghai Opera Art Center. It was hosted by the Shanghai Wanping Theater and Shanghai Dachuan Culture.
