Sing out different aspects of Shanghai culture
At the concert, Dong Shiyun weaved together red culture, Shanghai style culture, and Jiangnan culture with his singing voice.
"Fu De Li" is the first non fiction drama theme song of the same name produced by Jing'an, focusing on the Second National Congress of the Communist Party of China. This work takes the birth and protection of the first Party Constitution as its thread, presenting the fate, way out, mission, and love of revolutionaries 100 years ago. The original singer of "Fu De Li" was Huang Ling, Dong Shiyun's senior sister, and Dong Shiyun was also invited to play the role of Xiang Jingyu in the future performance plan of "Fu De Li". She said, "I hope this song can sing the tenderness of Shanghai girls and also the resilience of Chinese girls."

At the concert, Dong Shiyun chose songs in different languages and styles, such as Chinese songs, English songs, and Korean songs, thanks to her learning experience in Australia and South Korea, as well as the open vision of Shanghai, an international metropolis. One of the songs is titled "Food Temptation", created by herself and won the third place on the "Oriental Wind and Cloud Chart" weekly chart. In the song, there are eight major cuisines from Shandong, Sichuan, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Fujian, Zhejiang, Hunan, and Huizhou, with a variety of cooking methods including stir frying, frying, frying, stewing, and stewing. The taste buds cover a wide range, including coffee and cheesecake. "The coexistence and fusion of various flavors is a microcosm of the inclusive and innovative Shanghai style culture that embraces all rivers."
Dong Shiyun also has the tenderness of a girl from Jiangnan like water on her body. At the concert, she sang a song called "Shanghai Ballad" in Shanghai dialect. She also revealed that in November, she will hold another concert at the Shanghai Concert Hall and collaborate with the renowned Pingtan artist Gao Bowen to integrate Pingtan with pop music, making the sound of Jiangnan more contemporary and fashionable.
This concert also collaborated with the local high-end brand GRACE CHEN in Shanghai. Dong Shiyun, dressed in clothing full of Shanghai style, sang out her love for Shanghai.

If a song is not practiced enough 300 times, it will not appear on stage

Recently, she just recorded interludes for two online dramas and received invitations for two TV dramas. "To sing TV series insert songs well, you need to immerse yourself in the emotions of a certain protagonist in the drama or showcase the story context. Participating in the musical "The Silent Truth" was an accident. As a vocal teacher at the School of Pop Music and Dance at Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts, she sang a song from the musical "Silent Truth" titled "Late Justice" at the second Shanghai Art Teacher Musical Training Workshop. Her singing moved the producer of the musical "The Silent Truth" sitting in the audience, who immediately invited her to participate in the musical.
"No matter what kind of song, I have a requirement for myself. Practicing it no more than 300 times and not going on stage is the bottom line. Songs like 'Justice of Being Late' need to be practiced at least 500 times to truly master a song. I believe that quantitative change produces qualitative change," said Dong Shiyun.
