"Eternal Oath": 270 Precious Cultural Relics and Historical Materials Showcased at the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China
On September 11, 2023, the "Eternal Oath - Cultural Relics and Historical Materials Exhibition of the CPC's Oath to Join the Party" opened in Shanghai.
At 9:00 am, the opening ceremony of the exhibition was held in front of the site of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China. The picture shows the poetry recitation program "From Shikumen to Tiananmen".
This exhibition is divided into four parts. The preface hall "I Oath" creates a large multimedia immersive experience space, fully utilizing visual and auditory atmosphere rendering, and using passionate and inspiring oath songs and historical scenes to enable the audience to deeply understand the profound semantics behind the party oath; The first unit "The Original Aspiration to Forge the Oath" is based on existing historical materials and literature related to the oath of joining the Communist Party, combined with the latest research results in the field of history, to explain the evolution process of the oath of joining the Communist Party over the past century in a simple and concise manner; The second unit, "I swear with my blood", tells the touching stories of a group of outstanding CPC people who interpret the "oath" with action and practice the "oath" with life, and realizes the concrete expression of the abstract connotation of the oath of joining the party with true and vivid character stories; The screening hall of the "Fist Heart Odes to the Party's Mission" in the tail hall is set up to play a micro film with an oath theme, condensing and elevating the exhibition theme and triggering emotional resonance among the audience.
The preface hall creates an immersive multimedia experience space, using a multi screen linkage slide device for the first time. It uses seven screen movements to perform two modes of "split screen" and "combined screen", breaking the traditional spatial constraints. With the theme of "eternal oath", it deeply integrates elements such as oil painting, images, films, and music, making the display content "live" and bringing strong emotional and visual experiences to the audience.
The party emblem wall is composed of more than 200 seals of revolutionary martyrs of the CPC carved with traditional art, which shows the revolutionary spirit of generations of the CPC for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
The audience listens to the stories of outstanding Communist Party members joining the party in different periods.

The exhibition showcases a total of 270 precious cultural relics and historical materials. The cultural relics of Unit 1 include the physical documents related to the oath of joining the Party from the new democratic revolution period to the new era, from the first program and the first party constitution of the CPC to the Communist Party Textbook, the Constitution of the Communist Party and the voluntary documents of joining the Party in different years, which reflect the evolution of the oath of joining the Party of the CPC all the way with material evidence and material history. The second unit focuses on presenting relevant articles and works of outstanding Communist Party members and groups in various periods, such as Martyr Deng Zhongxia's "Overview of the Provincial and Hong Kong Strikes", Martyr Fang Zhimin's posthumous work "Lovely China" in prison, and the certificate and medal of Dr. Zhao Jian, "National exemplary individual in Poverty Alleviation", reflecting the belief power and great spirit of the models through the real deeds behind the objects.
