High level promotion of ecological civilization construction is a leading demonstration, and Zhejiang is also accelerating the green and low-carbon transformation of its development mode. In the Heping Industrial Zone of Changxing, Zhejiang, renewable energy sources such as photovoltaics and wind energy are used for power generation, saving 14000 tons of standard coal annually. The battery industry in the park forms a closed-loop industrial chain of production, sales, recycling, and reproduction, and industrial solid waste is fully disposed of. Zhejiang strives to build 50 green industrial parks like this and 500 green and low-carbon factories by 2025.
Adhering to ecological priority and green development, the proportion of excellent water quality in Zhejiang Province has reached 97.6%, and the provincial forest coverage rate has exceeded 61%. 314 natural reserves have been established.
