Yuli: "Coal to Electricity" Adding Warmth to Rural Revitalization
On September 13th, in Yuli, Xinjiang, the "coal to electricity" project has been implemented in rural areas. People use electricity for heating and cooking, which is both clean and safe. This year, Tarim Township in Yuli County, Xinjiang, has mobilized the public to participate in the "coal to electricity" project through various means, effectively promoting the implementation of the "coal to electricity" policy, and enabling the public to use safe and green energy.
Recently, the construction team of the coal to electricity conversion project in Kuwankule Village, Tarim Township is installing an electric boiler for the family of Tuerxun Abra, a villager.
"In winter, when I burn coal, the inside of the house is dirty and there are safety hazards. Now I have installed coal to electricity equipment, which is very environmentally friendly," said Yassen Aiyiti, a villager from Kuwankule Village.
It is understood that the coal to electricity project will be implemented in Kuwankule Village, Tarim Township, involving 261 households in the village and achieving full coverage of the permanent population.
After the implementation of the project, Wankule Village will completely overcome the dilemma of burning coal in winter and use green energy. As of now, 235 households have been completed in the village, with a completion rate of 90%. It is expected to be completed before September 20th.
Li Chunsheng, Secretary of the Party Committee of Tarim Township, said, "The 'coal to electricity' project is not only a heartwarming and livelihood project for the Party and the government, but also an ecological project to win the battle of blue sky defense. Next, Tarim Township will continue to increase its work efforts, timely install heating equipment with predetermined loads in the homes of villagers, so that the people can enjoy the warmth of the government's policy of benefiting the people, and bring the care and concern of the Party and the government to the people's side and into their hearts."
