More than 370 assessment points pose a huge challenge for Wang Yuyao, a participant in the restaurant service project of the second National Skills Competition. But in the face of difficulties, Wang Yuyao always kept a smile and practiced mixing cocktails, folding napkins, and setting tables hundreds or even thousands of times under the guidance of her teacher. Her neat attire, graceful and elegant demeanor, and lively demeanor are all attributed to Wang Yuyao's meticulous and clever thinking. "I will take this competition as an opportunity to hone my skills and become a well-rounded 'hexagonal warrior'," Wang Yuyao said with a smile.
Weighing one gram and waiting for one second, Wang Shaoxuan, a participant in the baking event of this year's competition, is focused on training beside the hot baking table. Faced with a total of 16 hours of competition time, Bi Zhiliang, a participant in the interior decoration design project from Tianjin Railway Vocational and Technical College, did not hesitate. During the preparation process, he continuously strengthened his learning and understanding of the competition rules, solidified his theoretical foundation, repeatedly discussed and polished during practice, improved the process flow, and continuously improved the evaluation and measurement accuracy of his works, striving to achieve a perfect combination of technology and art. For the competition, Bi Zhiliang is full of confidence and will fight for 16 hours to achieve good results.
The rail vehicle technology project, as a two person competition project in the second National Skills Competition, tests not only the skilled operational level of the participants, but also their tacit teamwork ability, and its difficulty is self-evident. In the training base, Ma Chaokai and Zhang Yilong quickly identified faults, debugged equipment, and solved problems. Effective communication and tacit cooperation were evident.
Through training, they got to know each other and formed deep friendships. Now, they also have the same wish: to face the upcoming challenges and achieve good results in competitions.
Youth is the foundation for building a better life with the spirit of craftsmanship. Entering the training venue of the Flower Art Project at Tianjin Agricultural College, there is a vibrant and fragrant atmosphere. Wu Minyi, a member of the Tianjin training team, is selecting flower materials and utensils to give each piece a unique artistic conception. Since May 2023, Wu Minyi has been spending 12 hours with flowers every day, and her improvement in aesthetic and technical skills has also given her a sense of achievement. For this competition, she is also full of expectations: "My goal is to win at least one award, and it is also to break through myself and take my floral skills to the next level." She said that she will also use floral art to convey the beauty of life and make it colorful.
In Tianjin, this year's National Skills Competition will also hold an exciting competition about "beauty". Liu Xinyu, who is about to participate in the beauty project, is undergoing training at the training base. This competition consists of 5 modules and 11 sub modules. The high difficulty competition and detailed assessment requirements pose great challenges to the contestants' quality, physical strength, and psychology. "I feel honored to participate in this competition. Through competition training, I can not only test my skills but also broaden my horizons." Liu Xinyu said, "In this process, I am also constantly challenging myself and discovering new selves."
