Xiamen requires rectification, but ride hailing platforms such as Gaode have not transmitted operational data as required. Gaode | Platform | Data
According to the website of Xiamen Transportation Bureau, the Xiamen Transportation Development Center recently issued a notice regarding the issue of platforms such as Gaode, Pangda, Shenzhou, Tuotou, Dashun, and Lianhua not transmitting operational data in accordance with regulations.
The notice shows that the Xiamen Transportation Development Center has conducted secret investigations and spot checks on five ride hailing platform enterprises that have abnormal daily order taking ratios when accessing the Gaode aggregation platform. A total of 25 ride hailing platform enterprises were inspected through Gaode ride hailing, of which 18 failed to transmit operational data to the industry regulatory system in accordance with regulations, with a leakage rate of 72%. This seriously violates the requirements of "the ride hailing aggregation platform and cooperative ride hailing platform companies, in accordance with relevant regulations, transmit real-time relevant ride hailing operation information data to the ride hailing supervision information exchange system to ensure data transmission quality" and "strict data security protection and management, and effective measures are taken to prevent personal information leakage, damage, and loss of drivers, ride hailing passengers, and other individuals".
The notice pointed out that the situation of secret investigations and spot checks reflects that the above platforms have ignored relevant government regulations, seriously lacked online service capabilities, and have significant security risks, especially the Gaode Aggregation Platform, which has access to ride hailing platforms with a large area of such problems, indicating that there are systematic loopholes in its management mode and information tools. All ride hailing platform enterprises and ride hailing aggregation platforms must attach great importance to it, take it as a warning, draw lessons from other situations, quickly carry out self inspection, and rectify it as soon as possible.
