The 27th batch of peacekeeping forces to Congo consists of 218 personnel, divided into engineering teams and medical teams, which were respectively formed by personnel drawn from the Xining Joint Logistics Support Center of the 76th Army Group. This time, 109 officers and soldiers from the first echelon set off.
They are mainly responsible for road construction, bridge installation, and the treatment of injured and sick personnel in United Nations peacekeeping forces. It is understood that most of the medical team officers and soldiers have participated in major tasks such as earthquake relief, international peacekeeping, and supporting the fight against the epidemic.
Carrying out peacekeeping missions abroad is different from being in China, as officers and soldiers also have special dress requirements. They wear blue berets and blue scarves, have the United Nations emblem embroidered on their right arm, and their name tags have been changed to full names in English and Chinese Pinyin.

To carry out a one-year mission abroad, the military needs to prepare materials for one year, including vehicle parts such as "Mengshi" vehicles, tires, mechanical and hardware materials.
Logistics supplies include vegetable seeds such as luffa, cucumber, coriander, seasoning and dried vegetables, scissors for haircuts, and wrap, everything is available.
Epidemic prevention materials are mainly divided into four categories, namely drug consumables, epidemic prevention and disinfection, antimalarial drugs, and traditional Chinese medicine.

In addition to completing various tasks, peacekeeping officers and soldiers also need to ensure their own safety and respond to various dangers at any time. Before the departure of the officers and soldiers, the CCTV reporter also visited the training ground of the peacekeeping force, which simulates the base of the Chinese peacekeeping engineering team in Congo.
The situation in the Congo mission area is turbulent, with occasional small-scale armed conflicts occurring locally. In response, officers and soldiers have conducted multiple targeted training sessions.
In a defense drill simulating a camp being attacked by "criminals", the "criminals" demonstrated with stones, machetes, and other weapons. The officers and soldiers first shouted to dissuade them, but after no effect, they fired warning shots.
When our lives were threatened, the officers and soldiers pursued and arrested the "criminals" according to the orders of the United Nations Armed Forces. In addition, training on road repair, bridge installation, and operation and use of water purification equipment also proceeded smoothly.
As of August this year, China has dispatched more than 50000 peacekeeping personnel and participated in 25 United Nations peacekeeping operations. Peacekeeping personnel have made important contributions to the peaceful resolution of disputes and the maintenance of regional security and stability.
