Wang Dubo, Secretary of the Communist Youth League Henan Provincial Committee, takes office as Secretary of the Party Committee of North China University of Water Resources and Hydropower
According to the website of North China University of Water Resources and Electric Power, on September 11th, North China University of Water Resources and Electric Power held a cadre meeting and announced the decision of the Henan Provincial Party Committee to appoint Comrade Wang Dubo as the Secretary of the Party Committee of North China University of Water Resources and Electric Power.
According to public information, Wang Dubo, born in August 1979, is an in-service graduate student with a PhD in engineering. He is a member of the Communist Party of China and has served as a member of the Standing Committee of the Henan Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and the Deputy Secretary of the Henan Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League. In September 2022, Wang Dubo was appointed as the Secretary of the Communist Youth League Henan Provincial Committee.
The North China University of Water Resources and Hydropower, where Wang Dubo took office, is a university jointly built by the Ministry of Water Resources and Henan Province, mainly managed by Henan Province. It has a campus in Huayuan, Longzihu, and Jianghuai.
The school originated from the Water Conservancy School of the Ministry of Water Resources of the Central People's Government, established in Beijing in 1951, and was renamed as the Beijing Water Conservancy School of the Ministry of Water Resources in 1954. In 1958, Beijing Hydroelectric Power School and Beijing Hydroelectric Power Correspondence College were merged to establish Beijing Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower. In 1969, it moved to Yuecheng Reservoir in Cixian County, Hebei Province for education, and in 1971, it was renamed Hebei University of Water Resources and Hydropower. In 1977, it moved to Handan City, Hebei Province for education and was renamed North China Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower in 1978. In 1990, it moved to Zhengzhou City, Henan Province for education and was renamed North China University of Water Resources and Hydropower in 2013.
