Vucic: Serbia will not join sanctions against Russia
According to TASS, Serbian President Alexander Vucic stated on September 11th that Serbia is independent and no one can impose a decision on Serbia regarding whether to join the sanctions against Russia.
Wu Qiqi said, "As a sovereign country, we can make our own decisions on the issue of sanctions. That's what sets us apart from Pristina."
According to reports, Vucic's remarks were directed at Kosovo's leader Albin Kurti, who claimed that without using a whip, Russia and Serbia could not be separated.
Wu Qiqi said, "I want to know why some people believe that they have the right to demand a third party to use a whip against a sovereign country, especially when they violate the United Nations Charter and the territorial integrity of a country."
According to reports, Vucic earlier stated that due to his moral principles, Serbia will not impose sanctions on Russia. He emphasized that despite being sanctioned, Russia's economy is better than anyone expected.
