According to the person in charge of the Passenger Transport Department of China Railway Group, based on the availability of train tickets for October 5th that have been released today, tickets for some directions such as Shenyang to Beijing, Qingdao to Beijing, Chengdu to Xi'an, Qingdao to Shanghai, Nanchang to Shanghai, Nanchang to Shenzhen, Chengdu to Guangzhou, Chengdu to Beijing, Nanchang to Guangzhou, and Guiyang to Guangzhou are still in high demand. There are still more tickets available for some directions such as Beijing to Xi'an, Chengdu to Chongqing, Beijing to Taiyuan, Shenzhen to Wuhan, Beijing to Shenzhen, Shenzhen to Changsha, Changsha to Shenzhen, Guangzhou to Nanning, and Changsha to Shanghai. There are also plenty of tickets available for various directions such as Beijing to Shanghai, Beijing to Nanjing, Beijing to Qingdao, Shanghai to Beijing, and Shanghai to Wuhan.
The person in charge introduced that based on ticket sales data and transportation capacity, the railway department will add 320 direct passenger trains across the railway bureau group companies during the holiday transportation period, including 14 daytime high-speed trains, 200 nighttime high-speed trains, and 106 ordinary speed passenger trains. Among them, the main directions of night high-speed trains are popular and tense sections such as the Beijing Shanghai, Beijing Harbin, Beijing Guangzhou, Shanghai Kunming, and Guangzhou Shenzhen high-speed trains. Each railway bureau group company has further explored its transportation potential and added short distance passenger trains within the railway bureau's jurisdiction, making every effort to meet the demand for passengers to purchase tickets for their return journey.
