On September 14th, Wuhan University held a meeting of the Party Committee Standing Committee, announcing the relevant decisions of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council on the adjustment of the school's leadership team. Approved by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Comrade Shen Zhuanghai was appointed as the Executive Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Wuhan University, and Comrade Zhu Deyou and Gong Wei were appointed as the Vice Presidents of Wuhan University.

Previously, Shen Zhuanghai served as the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Wuhan University.

According to public information, Shen Zhuanghai was born in November 1971 in Henan Province. He has a master's degree and a doctor's degree. He joined the CPC in May 1992 and joined the work in July 1997. He is a professor and doctoral supervisor of the Academy of Marxism.

From 1990 to 2000, Shen Zhuanghai studied at Wuhan University and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Law, a Master's degree in Law, and a Doctor's degree in Law. From 2001 to 2003, he conducted postdoctoral research at the Wuhan University Law Postdoctoral Station.

In July 1997, Shen Zhuanghai stayed at school to teach. He was promoted to lecturer in 1999, associate professor in 2001, and professor in 2003. In December 2016, Shen Zhuanghai was appointed as the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Wuhan University, and in December 2020, he also served as the Dean of the School of Marxism at Wuhan University.

It is reported that Shen Zhuanghai mainly engages in research on the sinicization of Marxism, cultural construction, and ideological and political education. Has led multiple projects, including major projects funded by the National Social Science Foundation. I have published over a hundred papers in Chinese Social Sciences, Seeking Truth, Marxist Studies, People's Daily, Guangming Daily, and more than 10 personal monographs and academic works as the chief editor. The achievements have won the 13th Five One Project Award for Spiritual Civilization Construction of the Central Propaganda Department, the First National Textbook Construction Award, the National Excellent Textbook Special Award, and the National Teaching Achievement First Prize.

Zhu Deyou, the newly appointed Vice President of Wuhan University, was born in January 1968. He is a male of Han ethnicity, with a graduate degree and a doctoral degree. He is a member of the Communist Party of China and a researcher.

According to public information, Zhu Deyou has served as the Minister of Personnel at Wuhan University, as well as the Director of the Talent and Expert Work Office, the Director of the Teacher Work Department of the Party Committee, and the Director of the Organization Department of the Party Committee at Wuhan University. In December 2021, he was appointed as a member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and the Minister of the Organization Department at Wuhan University.

Gong Wei, the newly appointed Vice President of Wuhan University, was born in December 1970. He is a male of Han ethnicity with a graduate degree and a doctoral degree. He is a member of the 93 Society and a second level professor at Wuhan University; Leader of the "Innovation Team" of the Ministry of Education; Leading talents in scientific and technological innovation under the national "Ten Thousand Talents Plan".

Gong Wei has been engaged in research on laser and optical remote sensing technology and applications for many years. Since returning to China to work, I have been committed to research in laser remote sensing technology and methods, including key core technologies of photoelectric detection, integration methods of laser remote sensing systems, and scientific application research of satellite remote sensing data.

According to public information, he has served as the Dean of the School of Electronic Information at Wuhan University and the Director of the Office of Development Planning and Discipline Construction at Wuhan University.
