The Rhyme of Eight Sounds | Let's listen to the Lingling Clear Sound Coming from Dunhuang Murals
this
It has been silent for nearly three hundred years
Now reproducing the voiceless sound
The fairy voice of Lingling is as clear as snow capped mountains and clear springs
The faint ancient sound comes from the depths of history
Konghou
Originally known as Kanhou or Konghou
The speaker is located on an upward curved wooden surface
It flourished in the Han Dynasty and flourished in the Tang Dynasty
There is a crouching konghou called "Konghou Qinse" in the Records of the Grand Historian
There is a vertical konghou that comes along the Silk Road
There is a phoenix headed konghou introduced from ancient India
Konghou Coming from the Dust of History
Flowing with string sounds from different eras
Like a phoenix in a bath of fire and rebirth
Flying on the stage of the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation
Interpreting a New Oriental Style
So, how clear and spiritual is the sound of the konghou played?
This recording uses 3D Jingcai sound throughout, wearing headphones for better viewing effect!
