The production and operation of enterprises have improved, and the social service industry and accommodation and catering index have risen for two consecutive months
CCTV News: The China Association of Small and Medium sized Enterprises announced on September 11th that with the implementation of a series of economic stability growth policies such as expanding domestic demand, reducing taxes and fees, promoting private enterprises, and promoting active capital, the China Small and Medium sized Enterprise Development Index rose for the third consecutive month in August. The sub index also shows that the production and operation, market, and investment conditions of enterprises have improved.
In August, the development index of small and medium-sized enterprises in China was 89.4, an increase of 0.1 points from July. This is the third consecutive month of increase, after an increase of 0.2 points in June and July respectively.
Multiple sub indices show an improvement in the production and operation status of enterprises

In the sub indexes of the China Small and Medium sized Enterprise Development Index, the macroeconomic perception index, comprehensive operation index, market index, and investment index have all increased for three consecutive months. The transportation index in the sub industry index has achieved four consecutive months of increase, while the social service industry and accommodation and catering index have increased for two consecutive months.
Xie Ji, Secretary General of the China Association of Small and Medium sized Enterprises: This indicates that the production and operation, market, and investment conditions of enterprises have improved. From the domestic order index, 6 out of 8 industries are on the rise. The service industries of industry, transportation, tourism, catering and accommodation are continuously improving. The National Development and Reform Commission has established a private economic development bureau, which provides strong organizational support for promoting the development of the private economy.
