The two-day summit of the Group of 77 and China concluded in Havana on the 16th. This summit is hosted by Cuba, the rotating presidency of the Group of 77 and China. Heads of state or government from 31 countries, heads of multiple international and regional organizations, and high-level delegations from 116 countries participated in the summit. Representatives from participating countries jointly paid attention to the challenges faced by developing countries and unanimously believed that developing countries should strengthen unity and cooperation to seek a common development path.

The Havana Declaration adopted at the summit pointed out that the challenges posed by the current unjust international economic order have had a serious impact on developing countries. The Group of 77 was established in 1964 as an intergovernmental international organization composed of developing countries, with the aim of strengthening solidarity and cooperation to accelerate the economic and social development process of developing countries. China's actions are widely praised

Suryono pointed out that China has long provided assistance to developing countries, especially underdeveloped countries, by imparting hybrid rice technology to many countries, cultivating a large number of agricultural talents, and ensuring that these countries have sufficient food production capacity to feed their own people. China has integrated and upgraded its South South Cooperation Assistance Fund into a Global Development and South South Cooperation Fund, and has increased the size of the fund, which will further promote cooperation between China and developing countries.
