The official opening of Hangzhou Asian Games Village will create a safe, warm and comfortable home for all villagers
On September 17th, Zhejiang Online reported that on the 16th, the opening ceremony of the Hangzhou Asian Games Village and the welcoming ceremony of the Chinese sports delegation were held, marking the official launch of the Asian Games Village during the competition.
The theme of this village opening ceremony is "Drum Dance Lion Qi". The warm-up program started with a children's chorus of the Asian Games theme song "Together in Love", accompanied by the dance of the Asian Games mascot, expressing the beautiful wishes of Asian athletes gathering in Hangzhou. The song "Lion Martial Youth" combines youth martial arts, lion dance, and drum music to bring the atmosphere of the entire venue to a climax, showcasing the host's enthusiasm and wishing all delegations success.
The Hangzhou Asian Games Village is composed of athlete village, technical officer village, and media village, and is the largest Asian Games village in history. During the Asian Games, the Asian Games Village will provide comprehensive services such as accommodation, catering, transportation, culture, technology, medical care, and commerce for more than 20000 athletes, team officials, technical officials, and media personnel. It is reported that various services in the Asian Games Village have been fully operational, with over 15000 staff and over 600 volunteers in place. We will do our best to create a safe, warm, and comfortable home for all villagers.
"We have carefully prepared a variety of safe catering dishes, introduced more than 10 different types of commercial formats, planned 6 shuttle bus routes within the village and 9 theme tourism routes outside the village. In addition, we are equipped with an 8000 square meter fitness center and provide 24-hour medical security services. The relevant person in charge of the Hangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee stated that we will use the most scientific and high-quality event services and the safest and most reliable logistics support to help athletes demonstrate their best performance and achieve ideal results at the Hangzhou Asian Games.".
At the village opening ceremony, many familiar faces appeared in the Chinese sports delegation - badminton Olympic champion Chen Yufei, rowing Olympic champion Cui Xiaotong, badminton superstar Ningbo young man Wang Chang, Hangzhou girl Huang Yaqiong, and recently popular women's 100m hurdler Wu Yanni.
In the past two days, many athletes from the Chinese delegation have had a "first impression" of the Asian Games Village. Chinese badminton team athlete and Olympic champion Chen Yufei said in an interview that although she has not yet moved into the Asian Games Village, she looks forward to watching the short video and will take a good stroll after moving in, especially experiencing intangible cultural heritage projects and intelligent interactive activities. "The game is getting closer and closer, and we are currently working closely with the team to train and improve technical details." Chen Yufei told everyone that playing at home in his hometown is exciting and there will be pressure, but pressure is also motivation.
After participating in various competitions around the world, the hardware facilities and various event services of Hangzhou Asian Games Village exceeded my imagination. After the village opening ceremony, Chinese men's triple jump athlete Zhu Yaming was full of anticipation for moving into the Asian Games Village. As the runner up of the men's triple jump at the Tokyo Olympics, Zhu Yaming hopes to achieve good results at the Hangzhou Asian Games and bring glory to his country.
On that day, in addition to the official opening of the Hangzhou Asian Games Village, five sub villages located in Ningbo, Wenzhou, Jinhua, Tonglu, and Chun'an, as well as three athlete reception hotels in Shaoxing, Lin'an, and Xiaoshan, opened simultaneously to welcome delegations to stay.
